LIQUID CIRCUIT FOR AN AGRICULTURAL SPRAYER COMPRISING A SEALED TRANSFER SYSTEM AND A DOSING MECHANISM
The invention relates to a liquid circuit for an agricultural sprayer having a main tank, a sealed transfer system able to transfer a liquid product contained in a drum to the liquid circuit in a sealed manner, a suction mechanism designed to suck the liquid product coming from the sealed transfer system and to discharge said liquid product to the main tank, a dosing mechanism and a control unit designed to determine a quantity of liquid product to be provided to the suction mechanism for the filling of the main tank, and to control the dosing mechanism to provide the determined quantity of liquid product to the suction mechanism, in such a way as to meter the liquid product transferred from the sealed transfer system to the main tank.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PASTILLATING A FLOWABLE PRODUCT
A device for pastillating a flowable product, in particular a melt. The device has a revolving belt and a drop former, and the drop former deposits product drops on an upper run of the belt. The product drops, in the course of transportation on the upper run of the belt, solidify to form pastilles, and an arrangement for wetting the belt with a liquid release agent is provided upstream of that region in which the product drops are deposited on the belt. The release agent prevents or reduces the adhesion of the product drops to the belt, and a proportional metering pump is provided for continuously mixing the release agent from at least two liquid components during the operation of the device.
Device and method for dilution control
A dilution control device and method of operating the same. The dilution control device can include a structure for dispensing concentrate and diluent fluid in a desired dilution ratio utilizing volumetric dosing. In some embodiments, diluent fluid drives a wheel or compresses a pliable concentrate bag in order to dispense concentrate in the desired ratio with the diluent fluid. In some embodiments, one or more floats can be used to drive a pump or actuate a valve to dispense concentrate at a particular rate proportional with the flow rate of the diluent fluid. In some embodiments, a rocker is responsive to the flow of diluent fluid to pump concentrate. In some embodiments, the dilution control device can be operable to automatically modulate the dispense rate of concentrate when the diluent fluid flow rate is varied in order to maintain a predetermined dilution ratio.
APPARATUS FOR FILLING A VESSEL WITH A FILLING PRODUCT
An apparatus for filling a vessel with a multicomponent filling product includes a filler having at least one filling unit set up to introduce the filling product into the vessel, and a filler tank set up for intermediate buffering of the filling product and in fluid connection with the filling unit via a product conduit to supply the filling unit with the filling product; and a mixer set up to blend the filling product from at least two filling product components, wherein the mixer has a circulation conduit; and the mixer has at least one dosage branch set up to introduce one filling product component into the circulation conduit, wherein the mixer has a heat exchanger set up to adjust the temperature of the filling product in the circulation conduit.
Method for controlling a centrifugal pump, and associated pump system
The invention relates to a method for controlling at least one first circulation pump (17b, 17c) of a heating or cooling system (1) having a primary circuit (2, 2a) and a secondary circuit (4, 30a) coupled therewith at a transfer point (3, 29). The first circulation pump (17, 17b, 17c, 17b) conveys a heating or cooling medium in the primary circuit (2, 2a), and in the second secondary circuit (4, 30a), at least one second circulation pump (12, 17d) is located that conveys a heating or cooling medium in at least one partial area of the secondary circuit (4, 30a). The volume flow rate (formula I) of the first circulation pump (17, 17b, 17c, 17b) is controlled in functional dependence on the volume flow rate (formula II) of the secondary circuit (4, 30) behind the transfer point (3, 29). In this way, a demand based, and thus an energy-efficient control of the primary-side circulation pump is achieved. The invention further relates to a pump system, comprising the at least one first and the at least one second circulation pump for carrying out the method.
FERMENTATION AND AGING APPARATUS
A fermentation and aging apparatus may include a tank, a fermentation container, an ingredient accommodator having at least a portion of ingredients for making a beverage accommodated therein, a pump, and a controller that controls the pump such that the portion of ingredients accommodated in the ingredient accommodator may be introduced into the fermentation container while the beverage is made.
