HEAT MEDIUM CIRCULATION DEVICE
Provided is a heat medium circulation device with a simple structure, capable of reducing power consumption in performing an anti-freezing treatment. A first heat medium circuit 2 and a second heat medium circuit 3 are connected via a connector 5. An anti-freezing control unit 42 activates the first pump 22 with the second pump 32 in a stopped state, when preventing the heat medium in the first heat medium circuit 2 from freezing.
Three-way modulating valve for temperature control
A temperature sensor for a first fluid senses a temperature of the first fluid downstream of a heat exchanger. A supply for a second fluid changes a temperature of the first fluid. The supply for the second fluid passes through the heat exchanger. A valve is positioned upstream of the said heat exchanger on the supply for the second fluid, and controls a flow rate of the second fluid diverted into a bypass line compared to a flow rate of the second fluid directed through the heat exchanger, with the three-way valve controlled by a control in response to feedback from said temperature sensor. The valve changes the respective flow rates delivered into the bypass line and through the said heat exchanger in a non-linear manner with a change in valve position. A manned spaceship is also disclosed.
Hot, tempered, and cold water delivery systems
A tempered hot water delivery system configured to prevent or reduce colonisation of Legionella bacteria in tempered water delivered from the system to one or more outlets in a facility. The system comprises: a thermostatic mixing valve comprising; a hot water inlet for connection to a supply of hot water at a temperature of at least 60° C., a cold water inlet for connection to a supply of cold water, a tempered water outlet for supplying tempered water obtained from mixing the supplied hot water and cold water to provide tempered water at a temperature of between 36° C. to about 53° C. to at least one tempered water outlet of a facility, a recirculating inlet for connection to a recirculating water line circuit; and a recirculating water line circuit comprising a circulating return line connected to a circulating return outlet from the facility and to a water inlet feed line for connection to an inlet of a water heater and storage tank for providing the supply of hot water, the recirculating water line circuit further comprising a thermostatic element configured to introduce hot water to the recirculating water line circuit to maintain the temperature of water in the recirculating water line circuit during periods of little or no draw-off.
Hot Water Valve With Integral Thermostatic Mixing Cartridge
A hot water valve assembly is disclosed including a dual inlet housing having a cold water inlet and a hot water inlet, a thermostatic mixing cartridge disposed within the dual inlet housing, an inner conduit disposed adjacent to and in fluid communication with the dual inlet housing and a shell including a mixed water outlet that is connected to and in fluid communication with the inner conduit.
Methods and systems for energy balance control for feed flow and feed temperature disturbances
The present disclosure provides methods and systems for mitigating finished product temperature transients caused by changes in product flow, raw product temperature, or other disturbances in an aseptic sterilization process. The methods and systems include applying an energy balance feedforward control scheme to the aseptic sterilization process to compensate for raw product temperature changes and changes in product flow. The methods and systems prevent damage to a finished product from occurring based on adverse transient temperature responses of heaters and coolers in an aseptic sterilization process.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING TEMPERED FLUID
The present invention is directed to methods and apparatus for tempering the temperature of a liquid in a fluid conducting system. More particularly, the invention relates to tempering the temperature of water supplied to a fixture from a water heater in a fluid conducting system.
Method and system for dynamic control of game audio based on audio analysis
A headset, during play of a particular game, receives a plurality of audio channels carrying game sounds and determines whether a first of the game sounds overwhelms a second of the game sounds. In response to the determination, the headset adjusts a level of one or more of the audio channels such that perceptibility of the second game sound is improved relative to perceptibility of the first game sound prior to the adjustment, wherein for the adjustment, a level of one or more of the audio channels carrying the first game sound is decreased while a level of one or more of the audio channels carrying the second game sound is maintained or increased. The audio channels include three or more audio channels and the adjustment of the level of the audio channels is performed while the three or more audio channels are combined into two stereo channels.
