PROCESS MONITORING AND CONTROL USING BATTERY-FREE MULTIPOINT WIRELESS PRODUCT CONDITION SENSING
An arrangement for monitoring an aseptic manufacturing process includes product condition sensors capable of making closely spaced measurements of a product condition such as temperature or humidity. The measurements are made using closely spaced sensors arranged in a linear array on a single probe, which may be used to take measurements at multiple levels within the product. Data from the sensors is transmitted to a data collection point via short range wireless digital communications. The sensors may be used to measure temperature and humidity at a single point. For example, when the sensors are used in pharmaceutical freeze drying, the location of a sublimation front may be calculated for each vial, and the freeze drying process may be controlled using the data.

Power supply and method to deter mold
An apparatus and method to deter mold growth on the interior surfaces of buildings. The apparatus is a corded and plugged power supply with adjustable temperature and humidity sensors, logic circuitry, and split duplex receptacles. The method employs the apparatus, a portable heater, an array of portable fans, and catchments containing a hygroscopic substance such as calcium chloride. One receptacle controls the heater. The other receptacle controls the fans. There are three operative states: a heat-on/fans-on state at low temperature, a heat-off/fans-on state at high temperature and high humidity, and an idle state at high temperature and low humidity. The catchments capture water vapor circulated by the fans.
SYSTEM FOR REGULATING A TEMPERATURE OF A THERMAL ENERGY CARRYING FLUID IN A SECTOR OF A FLUID DISTRIBUTION NETWORK
A system (15) regulates a temperature of fluid in a sector of a fluid distribution network, including a feed line (11) transporting fluid from a thermal energy source (3) to a thermal energy consumer (7) within the sector and a return line (13) transporting fluid back. A bypass line (17) connects the return line to the feed line, mixing fluid from the return line into the feed line. A pump is at the bypass line. A temperature sensor determines a temperature of fluid in the feed line downstream of the bypass line. A pressure sensor determines an uncontrolled pressure difference between the feed line and the return line, or an uncontrolled pressure difference correlated therewith. A control unit controls the speed of the pump with a closed-loop control for achieving a target feed line temperature based on the determined temperature, and a feed-forward control compensating fluctuations of the pressure difference.
Systems, methods and articles for enhancing wellness associated with habitable environments
Environmental characteristics of habitable environments (e.g., hotel or motel rooms, spas, resorts, cruise boat cabins, offices, hospitals and/or homes, apartments or residences) are controlled to eliminate, reduce or ameliorate adverse or harmful aspects and introduce, increase or enhance beneficial aspects in order to improve a “wellness” or sense of “wellbeing” provided via the environments. Control of intensity and wavelength distribution of passive and active Illumination addresses various issues, symptoms or syndromes, for instance to maintain a circadian rhythm or cycle, adjust for “jet lag” or season affective disorder, etc. Air quality and attributes are controlled. Scent(s) may be dispersed. Hypoallergenic items (e.g., bedding, linens) may be used. Water quality is controlled. Noise is reduced and sounds (e.g., masking, music, natural) may be provided. Passive and active pathogen controls are employed. Controls are provided for the occupant and/or facility personnel, as is instruction, and surveys, including assessing wellness.

ADVANCED CONTROL METHOD FOR AN EVAPORATION UNIT
The present invention is related to an advanced control method—including a fast response method—to stabilize, optimize and or maximize the output flow of an evaporation unit via ultrasonic controlled sound or vibration applied to the said evaporation unit. The invention further provides equipment wherein said method is being implemented, such as an evaporation or separation unit.
DEVICE FOR ASSESSING AND MANAGING A HEALTH IMPACT OF AN INDOOR ENVIRONMENT AT A SITE LOCATION
A system and a method include receiving, by a processor, from environmental sensors, environmental output data measurements. The environmental sensors are located at a site location. An health impact scoring algorithm computes a plurality of health impact scores from the environmental output data measurements. An overall health impact score at the site location is computed from the any of the health impact scores having a lowest value. A machine learning model generates at least one recommendation for remediating at least one verified environmental hazard type. At least one of the overall health impact score, the at least one verified environmental hazard type, or the at least one recommendation are displayed on a computing device. An instruction is sent to environment-controlling equipment located at the site location to change an operational parameter of the environment-controlling equipment to mitigate the at least one verified environmental hazard type.
