Devices and systems for preventing misalignment in vehicle brake assemblies
A vehicle brake assembly includes an actuation lever coupled to a brake pedal. The brake assembly also includes a push rod of a brake booster. The push rod has a clevis on an end portion thereof. The clevis comprises two prongs. The brake assembly further includes an alignment device seated on each respective prong of the clevis. The alignment devices are configured to collectively guide and position the clevis into alignment with the actuation lever during construction of the brake assembly.
Foot pedal occlusion indicator system, apparatus, and method
A system, method and apparatus for notifying a surgeon of an occlusion in an ocular surgical apparatus are disclosed herein. Through operation of a handpiece of the surgical apparatus, the handpiece may become blocked or occluded. An occlusion detector is configured to sense the occlusion in the handpiece, and an occlusion signal is generated. A control module is provided to send an occlusion warning signal to a foot pedal of the surgical apparatus, where a tactile notification is provided to a user of the apparatus that an occlusion has occurred.

Pedal device with hinge part
In one example, a pedal device includes a base element, for example, to be arranged in a footwell, and a pedal element which is pivotably moveable with respect to the base element. The pedal element is connected to the base element via a hinge. The hinge includes a belt band having a first section and a second section. The first section is fastened to the base element and the second section is fastened to the pedal element. A particularly simple and cost-effective pedal device having stable articulation can be obtained due to the use of a belt band.

Footwear-protecting gear shift cover
The footwear-protecting gear shift cover is a semi-rigid structure. The footwear-protecting gear shift cover is configured for use with a motorcycle. The motorcycle is further defined with a gear shifting pedal. The gear shifting pedal is further defined with a lever and a crank. The footwear-protecting gear shift cover attaches to the gear shifting pedal of a motorcycle. The footwear-protecting gear shift cover attaches to the crank of the gear shifting pedal. The footwear-protecting gear shift cover comprises a protective structure and a motorcycle. The protective structure is a rectilinear block structure. The rectilinear block structure of the protective structure comprises two parallel planar surfaces in diametric opposition.
SYSTEMS AND METHOD FOR VERIFYING VEHICLE PEDAL ASSEMBLY
A method and a system for verifying installation of a pedal assembly in a vehicle is provided. The method includes coupling a testing device against the pedal assembly being tested, verifying a position of the testing device relative to the pedal assembly; and positioning a first portion of the testing device against a first side of a pin installed in the pedal assembly. The method also includes verifying the installation of the pin, positioning a second portion of the testing device against a second side of the pin, and verifying the proper installation of the pin.
Pedal Friction Pad for Vehicle Pedal Assembly
A vehicle pedal assembly comprising a pedal housing. A rotatable pedal includes a drum extending into the pedal housing. The drum includes a friction contact surface. A pedal friction pad extends in the pedal housing and includes a pedal friction surface in contact with the friction contact surface on the drum. The pedal friction surface is shaped and positioned to provide for a line frictional contact between the pedal friction surface and the drum. In one embodiment, the pedal friction surface in contact with the drum is arc-shaped. In one embodiment, the pedal friction surface includes a first curved converging segment, the arc-shaped surface segment defines the second surface segment and extends between the first and a third straight converging segment.
Devices and systems for preventing misalignment in vehicle brake assemblies
An alignment device may include a saddle element configured to sit on a pedal arm of a brake assembly. The saddle element may include first and second U-shaped ends configured to receive the pedal arm. The first and second U-shaped ends may be spaced apart from one another by an opening defined by first and second lateral wing elements. The first and second lateral wing elements may form a catchment area configured to guide and position a push rod of a brake booster into alignment with the pedal arm.
