Knob on display devices and related systems, methods, and devices
Knob on display (KoD) devices and related systems, methods, and devices are disclosed. A KoD device includes a touch surface including a conductive material. The touch surface is configured to be positioned in a released position and in a depressed position. The touch surface is configured to be positioned in the depressed position responsive to pressure applied to the touch surface. The KoD device also includes a push electrode pad configured to be positioned in engagement proximity to a touch sensor of a touch screen device in both the released position and the depressed position. The push electrode pad is electrically connected to the conductive material of the touch surface responsive to the depressed position and electrically isolated from the conductive material of the touch surface in the released position.

An operating device has: a lever configured to be operated by tilting; a resistor having a flat strip shape and provided on a surface of a substrate; and a slider configured to change an output voltage value by sliding on a surface of the resistor in accordance with tilting operation of the lever. In this operating device, the resistor has a low-resistance portion that has a lower resistance value than other portions of the resistor, and that is a portion in contact with the slider when the lever is in a neutral position.

The invention relates to an aircraft control column, the control column comprising a first shaft and a control lever configured to rotate the first shaft about a first axis through a first angular range [α1; α3] via a mechanical joint having a primary reduction ratio, the control column comprising a braking device configured to brake the first shaft via a first transmission device having a secondary reduction ratio, the secondary reduction ratio being maximum for an angular position, the secondary reduction ratio increasing over the range [α1; α4] and then decreasing over the range [α4; α3] so as to obtain an overall reduction ratio that has a limited amplitude of variation over the first angular range [α1; α3].

The shifter simulator system also includes a magnetic contact and a tilting element configured for tilting around a tilting axis via a tilting connection in response to a movement of the gear stick and providing a first lever, and wherein the tilting element is provided with a first contact element and a second contact element configured for engaging the respective first and second contact surfaces of the moveable frame part providing a second lever, and by moving the moveable frame part defining a shifter movement with the magnetic contact. The first and/or second levers are adjustable.
