11582130 · 2023-02-14 · ·

Methods and systems for monitoring performance in a distributed storage system described. One example method includes identifying requests sent by clients to the distributed storage system, each request including request parameter values for request parameters; generating probe requests based on the identified requests, the probe requests including probe request parameter values for probe request parameter values, representing a statistical sample of the request parameters included in the identified requests; sending the generated probe requests to the distributed storage system over a network, wherein the distributed storage system is configured to perform preparations for servicing each probe request in response to receiving the probe request; receiving responses to the probe requests from the distributed storage system, and outputting at least one performance metric value measuring a current performance state of the distributed storage system based on the received responses.

Assessment of humidity and non-humidity driven corrosion risk

An information handling system includes a corrosion controller that may monitor a corrosion sensor array, and determine a type of the corrosion based on a location of a corrosion sensor. The corrosion type may include humidity driven corrosion and non-humidity driven corrosion.

Digital twin workflow simulation

Systems, methods and computer program products for simulating workflows and activities of physical assets using digital twin models. User-defined simulations are performed by selectin digital twin components being analyzed during the simulation, concentrating the analysis on the selectively defined components and bypassing components that will not be simulated. Users can design the digital twin simulation using one or more available digital twin models. The model can be the most current digital twin model, a previous version of a model or a hybridized model comprising components or portions from multiple versions of the available digital twins. Users can further customize simulations by selecting components or sections of the digital twin model to selectively bypass during the simulation or provide overriding values for non-simulated portions of the digital twin which can be used as entry criteria inputted into the next simulated section or component of the digital twin, to complete the simulation.

Communication between independent containers

Techniques related to communication between independent containers are provided. In an embodiment, a first programmatic container includes one or more first namespaces in which an application program is executing. A second programmatic container includes one or more second namespaces in which a monitoring agent is executing. The one or more first namespaces are independent of the one or more second namespaces. A monitoring agent process hosts the monitoring agent. The monitoring agent is programmed to receive an identifier of the application program. The monitoring agent is further programmed to switch the monitoring agent process from the one or more second namespaces to the one or more first namespaces. After the switch, the monitoring agent process continues to execute in the second programmatic container, but communication is enabled between the application program and the monitoring agent via the monitoring agent process.

Methods and systems for exchange of equipment performance data

A method for exchange of equipment performance data includes the steps of: obtaining performance data of a communicatively-insulated device; converting the performance data into a scannable code; capturing an image of the scannable code; decoding the scannable code using a communicatively-enabled device to extract an address string encoded in the scannable code, the address string comprising an address of a remote server and the performance data; initiating, by the communicatively-enabled device, a communications link with the remote server using the address string thereby to provide the performance data to the remote server; performing, by the remote server, analytics on the performance data; and sending historic device performance data and/or analytical results to a remote computing device and/or sending a link to the historic device performance data and/or analytical results to the remote computing device; wherein the communicatively-insulated device is packaging equipment and wherein obtaining the performance data comprises: running a calibration phantom through the packaging equipment; scanning the calibration phantom with a calibration unit; and using the calibration unit to generate a system status report identifying one or more operational parameters of the packaging equipment.

A method for automatically creating installation-specific measuring profiles for an insulation monitoring system, includes: assisting in a computer-controlled manner by means of an assist system via guided instructions for acquiring installation data; and executing the instructions by means of one more sensor devices. The method further includes pre-selecting, assisting, recording, evaluating, detecting, and optimizing steps.

Data collection configuration file generation

A network monitoring system may receive a configuration request to generate a configuration file associated with collecting feature or debug data associated with a feature, hardware, or software associated with a network device. The network monitoring system may determine a command profile associated with the feature, hardware, or software that identifies a set of commands associated with obtaining the feature or debug data from the network device. The network monitoring system may determine respective parameters of one or more commands of the set of commands. The network monitoring system may determine, based on the respective parameters, respective arguments of the one or more commands. The network monitoring system may generate the configuration file based on the respective arguments and may perform an action associated with the configuration file to permit the configuration file to be used to collect the feature or debug data from the network device.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VIRTUAL TRAINING WITHIN THREE-DIMENSIONAL ADAPTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS

Disclosed herein are embodiments for managing a task including one or more skills. A server stores a virtual environment, software agents configured to collect data generated when a user interacts with the virtual environment to perform the task, and a predictive machine learning model. The server generates virtual entities during the performance of the task, and executes the predictive machine learning model to configure the virtual entities based upon data generated when the user interacts with the virtual environment. The server generates the virtual environment and the virtual entities configured for interaction with the user during display by the client device, and receives the data collected by the software agents. The system displays a user interface at the client device to indicate a measurement of each of the skills during performance of the task. The server trains the predictive machine learning model using this measurement of skills during task performance.

A system for detecting usage and position of a height adjustable work surface is disclosed that includes a smart hub device that uses a set of sensors to collect sensor data to determine whether a work area is occupied or unoccupied, and to also collect work area usage data for further analysis regarding the details of usage of the work area.

Measuring mobile application program reliability caused by runtime errors

A quality score for a computer application release is determined using a first number of unique users who have launched the computer application release on user devices and a second number of unique users who have encountered at least once an abnormal termination with the computer application release on user devices. Additionally or optionally, an application quality score can be computed for a computer application based on quality scores of computer application releases that represent different versions of the computer application. Additionally or optionally, a weighted application quality score can be computed for a computer application by further taking into consideration the average application quality score and popularity of a plurality of computer applications.
