SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MATCHING ELECTRONIC ACTIVITIES WITH RECORD OBJECTS BASED ON ENTITY RELATIONSHIPS

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for matching electronic activities with record objects based on entity relationships. The method can include accessing a plurality of electronic activities, identifying an electronic activity, identifying a first participant associated with a first entity and a second participant associated with a second entity, determining whether a record object identifier is included in the electronic activity, identifying a first record object of the system of record that includes an instance of the record object identifier, and storing an association between the electronic activity and the first record object. The method can include determining a second record object corresponding to the second entity, identifying, using a matching policy, a third record object linked to the second record object and identifying a third entity, and storing, by the one or more processors, an association between the electronic activity and the third record object.

Creation, management, and transfer of interaction representation sets

Technologies are described for generating, acquiring, transferring, and manipulating sets of interaction representations, where an interaction representation represents user interaction with content on a computer device, typically using a software application. The set can be represented as an interaction representation. To facilitate set creation, including adding items to a set, a request can be sent to an application to provide an interaction representation, such as an interaction representation of a current state of user-content interaction associated with the software application. Sets can be associated with different types, where the set type can determine whether, and what types, of interaction representations can be added to a set. Sets can be associated with expiration events, where the interaction representation for the set, and in some cases the component interaction representations, can be deleted upon the occurrence of the expiration event. In some cases, a set can be designated not to expire.

Generating search commands based on cell selection within data tables

A search interface is displayed in a table format that includes one or more columns, each column including data items of an event attribute, the data items being of a set of events, and a plurality of rows forming cells with the one or more columns, each cell including one or more of the data items of the event attribute of a corresponding column. Based on a user selecting one or more of the cells, a list of options if displayed corresponding to the selection, and one or more commands are added to a search query that corresponds to the set of events, the one or more commands being based on at least an option that is selected from the list of options and the event attribute for each of the one or more of the data items of each of the selected one or more cells.

Updating high definition maps based on age of maps

A computer-implemented method may include monitoring an age of a tile of a map, where the map includes multiple tiles including the tile. The method may also include, based on the age exceeding a threshold age, determining that the tile of the map is to be updated, and receiving a location indicator from a vehicle. The method may additionally include transmitting an update message to a vehicle traversing a track within the tile as indicated by the location indicator, where the update message includes instructions to cause the vehicle to gather and submit sensor data to a computing system. The method may also include receiving the sensor data from the vehicle, and updating the tile of the map based on the received sensor data.

Mechanism for Deprecating Object Oriented Data

Techniques are described to allow the deprecation of classes in an object-oriented data model, such as a CDM for a CMDB. When a class is deprecated and replaced by another existing or new class, data associated with instances of the deprecated class may be migrated to the replacement class. A mapping between the deprecated class and its replacement class may be provided to allow existing applications to continue to access data using the deprecated class without change until the deprecated class is finally deleted or the application is updated to use the replacement class. New applications written to use the object-oriented data model after the deprecation may use the replacement class to access data instances created using the original data model.

APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING LOCATION INFORMATION
20180011888 · 2018-01-11 ·

The disclosed apparatus, systems, and methods relate to a location query mechanism that can efficiently determine whether a target entity is located within a region of interest (ROI). At a high level, the location query mechanism can be configured to represent a ROI using one or more polygons. The location query mechanism can, in turn, divide (e.g., tessellate) the one or more polygons into sub-polygons. Subsequently, the location query mechanism can use the sub-polygons to build an index system that can efficiently determine whether a particular location is within any of the sub-polygons. Therefore, when a computing device queries whether a particular location is within the region of interest, the location query mechanism can use the index system to determine whether the particular location is within any of the sub-polygons.

PERSONAL INFORMATION DATABASE MODIFICATION AND MONITORING

A database management engine provides a user interface that allows users to access and modify employee information in a database. The database includes entries for employees, and each database entry includes identifying information about the associated employee. A user can request to modify data within database entries, for instance in order to update information associated with an employee. Responsive to the request, the database management engine identifies liabilities associated with the database modification stemming from associated tax laws. Based on the identified tax liabilities, the engine computes the aggregate tax liability owed by the employer and/or employee. Before modifying a database entry, the engine modifies the user interface to include interface elements detailing the computed aggregate tax liability. The user explicitly can be required to confirm the database modification in view of the aggregate tax liability. Once a user gives explicit confirmation, the engine modifies the database entry.

COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED METHOD FOR DATABASE MANAGEMENT, COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT AND DATABASE SYSTEM

A computer-implemented method for database management is provided. The method comprises: receiving, from a client device, first data to be stored in a database system that comprises first data storage configured to store a data table and a deletion history table; storing the first data in second data storage that is external to the database system and that is in communication with the database system via a network; obtaining a link that enables access, via the network, to the first data stored in the second data storage; storing the link in the data table; and performing a deletion operation of the first data, in response to a request from the client device to delete the first data from the database system, wherein the deletion operation comprises: deleting the link from the data table without deleting the first data from the second data storage; and storing the link in the deletion history table with a timestamp corresponding to a point in time when the link is deleted from the data table.

Personalized entity repository

Systems and methods are provided for a personalized entity repository. For example, a computing device comprises a personalized entity repository having fixed sets of entities from an entity repository stored at a server, a processor, and memory storing instructions that cause the computing device to identify fixed sets of entities that are relevant to a user based on context associated with the computing device, rank the fixed sets by relevancy, and update the personalized entity repository using selected sets determined based on the rank and on set usage parameters applicable to the user. In another example, a method includes generating fixed sets of entities from an entity repository, including location-based sets and topic-based sets, and providing a subset of the fixed sets to a client, the client requesting the subset based on the client's location and on items identified in content generated for display on the client.

Storage constrained synchronization engine

A client application of a content management system provides instructions for synchronizing content items and placeholder items using a local file journal and updated file journal. The client application compares entries in the updated file journal to entries in the local file journal to determine modifications to make to content items or placeholder items stored in a shared content storage directory on the client device. Based on the result of the comparison, the client application replaces placeholder items with content items or replaces content items with placeholder items.
