Identification of intent and non-intent query portions
Methods and systems for improved categorization of queries are disclosed. In one aspect, first queries having query results limited to a particular category are identified. Second queries including a first query are also identified. For identified second queries, a pattern is generated based on the second query and the included first query, and a rank of the first query's particular category in results for the second query and a percentage of the second query's results having a category equivalent to the included first query's particular category are determined. The ranks and percentages are aggregated for matching patterns, and second patterns with aggregated ranks and percentages meeting a criterion are determined. Results for a third query are limited to a category equivalent to a particular category for a first query included in the third query, and then transmitted over a computer network to a client device.
System for uploading information into a metadata repository
A back-end application computer server may access a potential metadata entries data store containing a set of potential metadata entries, each entry including at least a data element name and a data element definition. A metadata collection system may be executed to automatically populate a metadata template based on the set of potential metadata entries. The system may update entries in the metadata template using a translation tool and validate the updated entries in the metadata template to ensure that required data elements are present. The system may also certify the validated entries load the set of certified metadata entries, including the certified data element names and certified data element definitions, into an enterprise metadata repository data store. Electronic messages may be exchanged to support at least one interactive user interface display associated with certification of the metadata template.
Search indexing using discourse trees
Systems, devices, and methods of the present invention create a searchable index that includes informative portions of text. In an example, a computer-implemented method creates a discourse tree from a body of text. For each non-terminal node in the discourse tree, the method identifies a rhetorical relationship associated with the non-terminal node. The method labels each terminal node associated with the non-terminal node as either a nucleus or a satellite. The method further accesses a rule associated with the rhetorical relationship, and selects, based on the rule, selects the fragment associated with the nucleus. The method creates a searchable index including the selected fragments.
Methods and systems for generating and manipulating electronic vehicle checklists using web-based editing tool
Disclosed are methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for a web-based process to generate electronic checklists and deploy electronic checklists. One method may include: receiving bulk data from a user device; parsing the bulk data to form a loadable database for an electronic procedure system of a vehicle; generating a rendering of an electronic checklist of one or more electronic checklists based on the loadable database; transmitting a first message to the user device, the first message including the rendering of the electronic checklist; iteratively performing an authoring process using a web-based tool to update the loadable database; receiving a second message from the user device, the second message including an instruction to transmit the updated loadable database to the electronic procedure system of the vehicle; and transmitting a third message to the vehicle, the third message including the updated loadable database.
Methods and apparatus for determining a mood profile associated with media data
Examples described herein may perform various operations based on mood congruency. An example method involves accessing, by a processor, from a database, a score that represents a degree of congruency between a first mood vector that describes first media data and a second mood vector that describes second media data, wherein the score is generated based on (i) a first value that the first mood vector associates with a first mood, (ii) a second value that the second mood vector associates with a second mood, and (iii) a degree of congruency between the first and second moods, based on the score, comparing, by the processor, a first characteristic of the first media data, other than the first mood, with a second characteristic of the second media data, other than the second mood, and based at least in part on an output of the comparing, providing an indicator to a module.
Cognitive and heuristics-based emergent financial management
Cognitive and heuristics-based emergent financial management is provided. A method includes obtaining data related to an individual, an organization, a process, or combinations thereof. The data is obtained from internal sources, external sources, or combinations thereof. The method also includes creating data sets from the data based on determined classifications of the data. Further, the method includes establishing relationships between the data sets and determining a conclusion based on the relationships. The conclusion is based on a hypothesis that has undergone a test process.
User interface methods and systems for selecting and presenting content
A user-interface method of selecting and presenting a collection of content items based on user navigation and selection actions associated with the content is provided. The method includes associating a relevance weight on a per user basis with content items to indicate a relative measure of likelihood that the user desires the content item. The method includes receiving a user's navigation and selections actions for identifying desired content items, and in response, adjusting the associated relevance weight of the selected content item and group of content items containing the selected item. The method includes, in response to subsequent user input, selecting and presenting a subset of content items and content groups to the user ordered by the adjusted associated relevance weights assigned to the content items and content groups.
READING DIFFICULTY LEVEL BASED RESOURCE RECOMMENDATION
Examples associated with reading difficulty level based resource recommendation are disclosed. One example may involve instructions stored on a computer readable medium. The instructions, when executed on a computer, may cause the computer to obtain a set of candidate resources related to a source document. The candidate resources may be obtained based on content extracted from the source document. The instructions may also cause the computer to identify reading difficulty levels of members of the set of candidate resources. The instructions may also cause the computer to recommend a selected candidate resource to a user. The selected candidate resource may be recommended based on subject matter similarity between the selected candidate resource and the source document. The selected candidate resource may also be recommended based on reading difficulty level similarity between the selected candidate resource and the source document.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DISPLAYING INTERACTIVE QUESTIONS DURING STREAMING OF REAL-TIME AND ADAPTIVELY ASSEMBLED VIDEO
The present disclosure provides a system and method for enabling display of interactive questions during streaming of a real time, dynamic, adaptive and non-sequentially assembled video. The method includes reception of a set of preference data associated with a user and a set of user authentication data. In addition, the method includes serving of the assembled video based on the received set of preference data to the user in real time. Moreover, the method includes fetching of a pre-defined set of interactive questions. Further, the method includes posting of the pre-defined set of interactive questions during the serving of the assembled video. Furthermore, the method includes collection of the set of user feedbacks for a posted pre-defined set of interactive questions from the user.
Computer implemented method for quantifying the relevance of documents
A computer system comprising a processor, graphical output means and a computer readable storage medium storing instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to perform a method for quantifying and aggregating the relevance of documents.
