The data associated with the group of one or more objects may be analyzed to select an adjective. A particular description of the event may be generated. The particular description may be based on the group of one or more objects. The particular description may include the selected adjective. A textual content may be generated. The textual content may include the particular description. The generated textual content may be provided.

As an example, a server may receive, from a computing device, a submission created by an author. The submission includes book data associated with a book and author data associated with the author. The author data includes incarceration data indicating whether the author was incarcerated. The server may determine, based on the author data and the book data, that the submission is publishable. The server may create, based on the book data, a printable book, an e-book, and an audio book and make one or more of the printable book, the e-book, and the audio book available for acquisition.

System and method for performing a meaning search using a natural language understanding (NLU) framework
The present disclosure is directed to an agent automation framework that is capable of extracting meaning from user utterances and suitably responding using a search-based natural language understanding (NLU) framework. The NLU framework includes a meaning extraction subsystem capable of detecting multiple alternative meaning representations for a given natural language utterance. Furthermore, the NLU framework includes a meaning search subsystem that enables elastic confidence thresholds (e.g., elastic beam-width meaning searches), forced diversity, and cognitive construction grammar (CCG)-based predictive scoring functions to provide an efficient and effective meaning search. As such, the disclosed meaning extraction subsystem and meaning search subsystem improve the performance, the domain specificity, the inference quality, and/or the efficiency of the NLU framework.
Digital jukebox device with improved user interfaces, and associated methods
Certain exemplary embodiments relate to entertainment systems and, more particularly, to systems that incorporate digital downloading jukebox features and improved user interfaces. For instance, a smart search may be provided, e.g., where search results vary based on the popularity of songs within the venue, in dependence on songs being promoted, etc. As another example, a tile-based approach to organizing groupings of songs is provided. Groupings may involve self-populating collections of songs that combine centrally-promoted songs, songs in a given genre that are popular across an audiovisual distribution network, and songs that are locally popular and match up with the given genre (e.g., because of shared attributes such as same or similar genre, artist, etc.). Different tile visual presentations also are contemplated, as are different physical jukebox designs. In certain example embodiments, a sealed core unit with the “brains” of the jukebox is insertable into a docking station.
RESPONDING TO QUERIES WITH VOICE RECORDINGS
Implementations are provided for providing responsive audio recordings to user queries that are prerecorded by human beings, rather than generated automatically using speech synthesis processing. In various implementations, a query provided by a user at an input component of a computing device may be used to search a corpus of voice recordings From the searching, a plurality of candidate responsive voice recordings may be identified and ranked based on measures of credibility associated with speakers that created the candidate responsive voice recordings. Based on the ranking, one or more of the plurality of candidate responsive voice recordings may be provided for presentation to the user at an output component of the same computing device or a different computing device.

Provided is an information processing apparatus and an information processing method that are capable of providing contents suitable for a user. The information processing apparatus includes an information generation section that refers to information related to an action history and an action schedule of a user acquired and a database of event content information regarding a plurality of events, and generates profile information of the user while tying together information of stay places in past and future of the user and information of artistes of the events, and an output section that sets a priority for each of the plurality of artistes on the basis of the generated profile information, and outputs a content corresponding to each of the artistes in accordance with the priority.

A method for the real-time metatagging and captioning of an event. The method for the real-time metatagging and captioning of an event may include embedding metatag information in a caption file provided by a captioner. The embedded metatag information may allow a user to access additional information via the text of the captioned event. The metatag information may be embedded using a captioning device that creates both the text code and embeds the metatag code.

Methods, systems, and media for providing information are provided. In some implementations, a method for providing information is provided, the method comprising: associating a first recording device of a group of recording devices located in an environment of a user with a trigger term; receiving, from a user device, a query that includes the trigger term; in response to receiving the query, determining that audio data is to be transmitted from at least one recording device from the group of recording devices in the environment of the user; identifying the first recording device based on the inclusion of the trigger term in the received query; receiving the audio data from the first recording device; identifying a characteristic of an animate object in the environment of the user based on the received audio data; and presenting information indicating the characteristic of the animate object on the user device.

Methods and apparatus are disclosed to generate a recommendation, including an attribute vector aggregator to form a resultant attribute vector based on an input set of attribute vectors, the set of attribute vectors containing at least one of a media attribute vector, an attendee attribute vector, an artist attribute vector, an event attribute vector, or a venue attribute vector, and a recommendation generator, the recommendation generator including: a vector comparator to perform a comparison between an input attribute vector and other attribute vectors and a recommendation compiler to create one or more recommendations of at least one of media, an artist, an event, or a venue based on the comparison.
