Just-in-Time Distributed Video Cache
A video optimizer receives a request to optimize a source file and stream the optimized file. The request may be accompanied by a key uniquely identifying the original source file to be optimized and an optimized version of the source file to stream to the client. The key uniquely identifies the source video file as it exists on an origin server to prevent transmission of modified source video and the optimized version of the source file by optimization parameters to ensure compatibility with the user device. The video optimizer queries a cache database in response to the received request, which contains references keys and locations of optimized source files among local caches in a cluster of video optimizers. The cache database responds indicates whether a matching optimized version of the source file exists in a local cache of a given video optimizer in the cluster.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CLOUD STREAMING SERVICE
A method and apparatus are provided for a cloud streaming service. A cloud streaming server receives first data corresponding to media source extension (MSE) media from a media source server when a request for content is received from a user device. Then the cloud streaming server creates a first stream by transcoding the first data to a suitable format for processing at the user device, and transmits the created first stream to the user device. Further, the cloud streaming server receives second data corresponding to remaining data except the first data in the content, outputs an execution screen of the content by executing the second data, captures the outputted execution screen, and creates a second stream by encoding the captured screen.
Electronic device and controlling method thereof
An electronic device and a controlling method thereof are provided. A controlling method of an electronic device according to the disclosure includes: performing first learning for a neural network model for acquiring a video sequence including a talking head of a random user based on a plurality of learning video sequences including talking heads of a plurality of users, performing second learning for fine-tuning the neural network model based on at least one image including a talking head of a first user different from the plurality of users and first landmark information included in the at least one image, and acquiring a first video sequence including the talking head of the first user based on the at least one image and pre-stored second landmark information using the neural network model for which the first learning and the second learning were performed.

MEDIA PREVIEW SYSTEM
The media preview system receives media content from one or more client devices, generates a preview of the media content, associates a coded image with the preview within a database associated with the media preview system, detects scans of the coded image from client devices, and causes display of the preview at the client devices in response to detecting the scan.

SYSTEM AND INTERFACE THAT FACILITATE SELECTING VIDEOS TO SHARE IN A MESSAGING APPLICATION
Systems and methods are provided that facilitate selecting videos to share in a messaging session such as group video chat. In one or more aspects, a system is provided that includes an interface component configured to generate a graphical user interface that facilitates selecting by a user of the device, one or more videos provided by a remote streaming media provider, for sharing with one or more other users in association with a messaging session between the user and the one or more other users, the interface comprising a plurality of input categories including at least one video selection category corresponding to information identifying a set of videos associated with a shared attribute. The system further includes a presentation component configured to display the graphical user interface via a display screen of the device in response to a request.
Media storage
A user of a storage system can upload files for a media asset, which can include a high quality media file and various related files. As part of the upload process, the storage system can extract metadata that describes the media asset. The user can specify one or more lifecycle policies to be applied for storage of the asset, and a rules engine can ensure the application of the one or more policies. The rules engine can also enable the use of simple media processing workflows. A filename hashing approach can be used to ensure that the segments and files for the asset are stored in a relatively random and even distribution across the partitions of the storage system. As part of the lifecycle for the asset, the high quality media file can be moved to less expensive storage once transcoding of the asset or another such action occurs.

Relevance-based image selection
A system, computer readable storage medium, and computer-implemented method presents video search results responsive to a user keyword query. The video hosting system uses a machine learning process to learn a feature-keyword model associating features of media content from a labeled training dataset with keywords descriptive of their content. The system uses the learned model to provide video search results relevant to a keyword query based on features found in the videos. Furthermore, the system determines and presents one or more thumbnail images representative of the video using the learned model.
