The association information includes medical device information for uniquely identifying the medical device, and device agent information for facilitating in an association between the medical device and the information reader. The device agent also includes an associator for associating the medical device and the information reader based on the association information.

Computer-implemented methods and systems for efficient alphanumeric encoding for arbitrary payload data are disclosed. The computer-implemented method, performed by a server system, includes accessing URI-oriented payload data. The method further includes converting the URI-oriented payload data into an alphanumeric data type based, at least in part, on an alphanumeric encoding method. The alphanumeric encoding method may be one of BASE36, BASE37, BASE38-QR-URI-UNRESERVED, BASE42, BASE45, Base64, Base66, Base183, and Base191. The method further includes generating a machine-readable code based, at least in part, on the converted URI-oriented payload data.

The Tag Element System allows users to create, upload, and share virtual content in the physical world utilizing the Tag Element System platform, “Enhanced Tag Elements”, and a smart device such as a smartphone or tablet. Generating a 2D barcode includes acquiring private information input by a user and sending the private information to a server through a network. The method includes receiving an information access address returned through the network by the server, and generating a 2D barcode including the information access address. The method further includes acquiring a 2D barcode including an information access address and scanning the 2D barcode to obtain the information access address included in the 2D barcode, the information access address being for accessing private information. The method further includes sending the information access address to a server through a network, and receiving the private information returned through the network by the server, and using the private information as a reading result of the 2D barcode.

An electronic and paper combined data submission, printing, and retrieval method includes: completing an application in a client terminal, sending the user-entered data in the client terminal to a remote storage server; printing the completed application together with a barcode containing a unique identification code; retrieving the electronic data stored in the remote storage server by scanning said identification code. One or more notifications can be generated when the threshold number of descriptive characteristics are confirmed, the notification can include descriptive characteristics.

Devices, methods, and systems for multi-user commissioning are described herein. One system includes a mobile computing device comprising computer readable instructions stored thereon that are executable by a processor to: retrieve configuration data for a physical controller from a remote database, install the configuration data on the physical controller, receive data associated with a status of the physical controller after the configuration data is installed on the physical controller, and synchronize the data associated with the status of the physical controller with the remote database.

A system for providing a quick response (QR) code associated with an injection system is disclosed. The system includes the injection system and at least one processor. The at least one processor is programmed or configured to: receive data associated with the injection system; generate a network resource based on the data associated with the injection system, wherein, when generating the network resource, the at least one processor is programmed or configured to encode the data associated with the injection system into the network resource; generate a QR code based on the network resource; and display the QR code on a display screen of the injection system.
