REST API Validation
Embodiments validate representational state transfer (“REST”) application program interfaces (“API”). Embodiments receive a REST API specification that provides information for a plurality of REST APIs and parse the REST API specification to extract, for each REST API, a corresponding Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”), and corresponding parameter names response codes and payloads. Embodiments convert the parsed REST API specification into a converted text file, the converting including parameter constraints and parameter default values. Embodiments then generate all possible combinations of test data for each REST API from the converted text file and perform one or more test operations on each of the combinations of test data.
USER INTERFACES FOR SURFACING WEB BROWSER HISTORY DATA
Systems and methods are described that include generating a repository of metadata based on a plurality of webpages accessed and saved in a browser history of a web browser executing on a computing device, generating, based on the metadata, a history cluster including a portion of the plurality of webpages related to a topic where the history cluster generation is based on the source events and the access timestamps of the webpages in the portion, and assigning respective scores for the webpages in the portion. In response to a request to view browser activity associated with the topic, the systems and method may generate and display a history cluster listing for the topic where the history cluster listing includes visit listings associated with the webpages in the history cluster that are determined to have a score that meets a threshold score.
Systems and methods for enhanced networking, conversion tracking, and conversion attribution
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for electronically providing each of a plurality of content distributors with access to a library of content items, facilitating the selection of a combination of the content items, creating a unique set of links for each recipient-distributor combination, and distributing the selected content and unique links via one or more distribution channels to a plurality of recipients. As each link is associated with both a recipient and a distributor, conversion actions stemming from the selection of a link by a recipient are attributed to the proper distributor. Distributors can create content distribution approaches that can be shared with other distributors.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SPLITTING A VIDEO STREAM USING BREAKPOINTS BASED ON RECOGNIZING WORKFLOW PATTERNS
A system for classifying tasks based on workflow patterns detected on workflows through a real time video feed that shows steps being performed to accomplish a plurality of tasks. Each task is associated with a different set of steps. The system accesses a first set of steps known to be performed to accomplish a first task on the webpages. The first set of steps is represented by a first set of metadata. The system extracts a second set of metadata from the video feed. The second set of metadata represents a second set of steps to perform a second task. The system determines whether the second set of metadata corresponds to the first set of metadata. If it is determined that the second set of metadata corresponds to the first set of metadata, the system classifies the second task in a class to which the first task belongs.
Adjusting a value associated with presenting an online system user with a link that initiates a conversation with an entity via a messaging application
An online system presents content to its users, in which the content includes links that launch a messaging application and initiate conversations via the application. The system receives information indicating that negative experiences occurred during the conversations and may use this information and attributes of entities participating in the conversations to train a model to predict a likelihood of an occurrence of a negative experience. Upon determining an opportunity to present a user with a link that launches the application and initiates a potential conversation with an entity via the application, the system applies the model to predict a likelihood of an occurrence of the negative experience by the user during the potential conversation based on the entity's attributes. Based on the predicted likelihood, the system adjusts a value associated with presenting the link and passes the adjusted value to a process that selects content for presentation to the user.
Systems and methods for protecting against misleading clicks on websites
The disclosed computer-implemented method for protecting against misleading clicks on websites may include (i) detecting a user click event on a uniform resource locator (URL) for navigating to a website during a web browsing session, (ii) analyzing the user click event to identify expected domain behavior associated with navigating to the website based on the URL, (iii) determining, based on the analysis, that the user click event deviates from the expected domain behavior associated with navigating to the website based on the URL, and (iv) performing a security action that protects against potentially malicious activity caused by the user click event deviating from the expected domain behavior associated with navigating to the website based on the URL. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.
Supply of image assets for presentation at a mobile device
Technologies are provided to supply image assets for presentation at a client device. Some embodiments include a computing device that can determine that multiple image assets to be presented in a user interface are unavailable within a non-volatile storage device of the computing device. The computing device can then generate a request for an image sprite containing the multiple image assets, and can send the request to a content source platform. The request identifies the multiple image assets. The computing device can receive, from the content source platform, the image sprite and metadata corresponding to the image sprite. The metadata defines attributes of the multiple image assets. The computing device can store the metadata in the non-volatile storage device, and can extract, using the metadata, the multiple image assets from the image sprite. The computing device can present the multiple assets during presentation of the user interface.
DISPLAYING THE ACCESSIBILITY OF HYPERLINKED FILES
The accessibility of a hyperlinked files is displayed. A hyperlink that references a resource is extracted from a target file. An attempt to acquire the resource is made by performing a first authentication operation. A first object is received in response to performing the authentication operation. A second object is acquired by performing a second authentication operation using pre-determined authentication information. The first object and the second object are compared to determine if the first object is the same as the second object. Information indicating the accessibility of the resource is presented via a display apparatus.
Offline to online conversion linkage
This disclosure relates to electronically linking offline user activity to online activity of that user. Linking offline to online activity provides real-time feedback on traffic flow from a machine-readable label (“MRL”) scan to a conversion event on a target website. Linking offline to online activity enables tracking of specific MRLs and conversion events associated therewith. Linking offline to online activity enables calculating benchmarks such as time to conversion event and best performing conversion locations for an MRL. Linking offline to online activity enhances security and data quality as each conversion event can be traced back to a unique MRL scan and a timestamp and geolocation associated with the unique MRL scan.
Graphical user interface for presenting incremental opportunities in a financial planning system
A graphical user interface for a financial planning system includes a dashboard page that includes an estimated income widget. The estimated income widget includes a comparison of an estimated retirement income amount to a user goal. The GUI is programmed to call at least one planning engine to generate the comparison based on a respective user profile. The GUI also includes an opportunity rules engine programmed to identify, based on the respective user profile and without calling the at least one planning engine, one of an ordered list of candidate modifications. The dashboard page further includes an opportunity area including (i) a message recommending the identified candidate modification, and (ii) an associated jump link to a page of the GUI enabling the respective user to execute the identified candidate modification.
