Apparatus and methods for sharing bookmarks are provided. Bookmarks may include queries to a chatbot or other interactive application. A server may include a shared bookmark controller and a personal computing device may include a user bookmark controller. A user may save a bookmark and share the bookmark with a chosen recipient. The user bookmark controller may send the bookmark and the identity of the recipient to the shared bookmark controller. The shared bookmark controller may then send the bookmark to the recipient and record whether the recipient saves or rejects the bookmark. Bookmarks may be collated and categorized into groups, and entire groups may be shared.

A network address assigned a shared designation by a first client computer is received, in a first data format, automatically, at a host computer from the first client computer. The network address is categorized and published. Publishing the network address includes converting the network address into a second data format, receiving, at the host computer, a subscription request from a second client computer, and sending the network address to the second client computer in response to receiving the subscription request.

Systems and methods are disclosed for providing content by generating a bookmark data structure for a topic based on determining retrieval of a first content item related to the topic, of a first content type. In response to determining retrieval of the first content item, the system may add the first content item to the bookmark data structure for the topic. The system may then determine retrieval of a second content item related to the topic, of a second content type and, in response to determining retrieval of the second content item, the system may add the second content item to the bookmark data structure for the topic. The system may generate, for display in a user interface (UI), a menu based on the data structure, with interactive UI elements that provide preview and/or access to the content item when interaction with the UI element is detected.

An embodiment includes determining semantic attributes of a bookmark. The embodiment also includes determining respective attribute values for each of the semantic attributes of the bookmark. The embodiment also includes rendering a three-dimensional (3D) virtual space for display to a user, where the virtual space is defined by three orthogonal axes, each associated with a respective one of the semantic attributes. The embodiment also includes displaying a symbol representative of the bookmark in the virtual space. The symbol is positioned in the virtual space at an intersection of perpendicular projections from locations on the three axes corresponding with respective attribute values of the attributes associated with the respective axes.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display, a camera, a memory, and at least one processor operatively connected to the display, the camera, and the memory, and based on an image obtained via the camera, the at least one processor may display, in the display, an augmented reality scene including at least one bookmarking object, may receive a user input for the augmented reality scene, and in response to the user input, store bookmarking data including at least one of information associated with the augmented reality scene or information associated with the at least one bookmarking object in the memory.

Disclosed embodiments provide a framework for provisioning a virtual browser application environment accessible using a native browser application. The virtual browser application environment is implemented on a virtual machine instance, where the virtual environment is isolated from other functionality of the virtual machine instance. In response to a request to access the environment, a set of access control policies are identified. The access control policies define a level of access to actions that can be performed within the environment. The environment is presented through a website executed on a user's native browser application. The user's interactions with the environment and with any other users within the environment are monitored in real-time according to the access control policies.

Embodiments of the invention are related to a system and method of controlling a display of an image stream. The system may include a memory to store the image stream; the image stream may comprise a plurality of image frames. The system may further include a processor configured to execute the method. The moving image stream may be displayed to a user in an image stream display area of a screen and a frame rate control interface may be generated on a speed control area of the screen, such that the image stream display area is horizontally adjacent to the speed control area. An indication of a desired frame rate for displaying the image stream of the image frames may be received from the user, in that the frame rate may be selected according to a location of a pointing indicator in the speed control area.

Disclosed is an electronic device. The electronic device of the present invention comprises: a communication unit; a storage unit for storing a uniform resource locator (URL) designated by an external electronic device and information on specific content provided in the designated URL; and a processor which, when a request for a connection to a designated URL is received from an external electronic device through the communication unit, identifies whether specific content can be provided in the designated URL, and in a case where the specific content cannot be provided, obtains information on another URL that provides content related to the specific content by using stored information, and transmits the obtained information on the another URL to the external electronic device through the communication unit.

A system, method, and computer-readable medium for providing updated and new document links to documents of a website is described. An indication is received that a user device has bookmarked a document link on the website. Determination is performed when the user device visits/revisits the website with the document link. An assessment is performed as to the validity of the document link. If the document link is not valid, the user device is informed that an updated or new document link is available, and the updated or new document link is provided.
