Systems and methods to deliver content during client authentication process in a distributed computing system

A method includes receiving, by a content sharing platform, a request for content from a client device, the request for content comprising a session-based authentication token that pertains to a session between the client device and the content sharing platform. The content sharing platform can further validate the session-based authentication token and cause playback of the requested content to begin at the client device. Responsive to a valid content-based authentication token supplied by the client device, the content sharing platform can cause playback of the requested content to continue at the client device, wherein the valid content-based authentication token is based on an identifier of the requested content.

Obscured retrieval sequence for information centric networking (ICN) encoded video streams

A method is implemented by a network device operating as a content node for securely distributing a content object over an information centric networking (ICN) network. The method implements a unique obscured retrieval sequence. The method includes receiving an interest for a chunk of the content object from a client device, where the chunk is identified with an obscured chunk identifier, translating the obscured chunk identifier into a general chunk identifier for the content object, and sending the chunk of the content object to the client device.

Method, system, server and terminal for implementing secure transmission of data

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a server divides data into multiple data segments, directly stores some of the data segments without encryption, and encrypts and stores the other data segments; the server receives, from the terminal, a download request of downloading the data, and sends the unencrypted data segments to the terminal; and the server receives an identity authentication request sent by the terminal, performs identity authentication on the terminal, and sends the encrypted data segments to the terminal after the identity authentication succeeds.

DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A data management system includes a client apparatus, a window server apparatus and a plurality of data server apparatuses. The client apparatus is configured to transform private information including a character string having at least one item into a character code. The client apparatus is configured to divide the character code into at least two divisional character code portions. The client apparatus is configured to transmit the divisional character code portions to the window server apparatus. The window server apparatus is configured to store first data, which is formed by a part of the divisional character code portions, in one data server apparatus of the plurality of data server apparatuses and store second data, which is formed by a part of the divisional character code portions that is different from the part forming the first data, in another data server apparatus of the plurality of data server apparatuses.

System and method for securely retrieving and playing digital media using peer-to-peer distribution

A system and method for securely streaming/downloading and playing coherent digital content such as music and preventing its play by unauthorized users, facilitating a peer-to-peer sharing of cloned content. The system may include mass server/storage devices for receiving and storing digital content having predetermined gaps, and client devices communicating with the server/storage devices and providing authorization to proceed. During playing of the digital content by the client devices, the removed components may be reinserted into the missing gaps at the appropriate places, to allow the play or cloning of the coherent digital content.

Method and apparatus for delivering encoded content

A method and system for delivering encoded content are provided. A holdback representing a portion of the encoded content is extracted, thereby damaging the encoded content. The damaged encoded content is distributed. The holdback is transmitted to enable reintegration of the holdback with the damaged encoded content to restore the encoded content.

SEPARATING THE AUTHORIZATION OF CONTENT ACCESS AND CONTENT DELIVERY USING MULTIPLE CRYPTOGRAPHIC DIGITAL SIGNATURES
20220166633 · 2022-05-26 ·

A first request for content from a client device is received. The first request includes a resource locator provided by an authorizing data service to authorize the client device to obtain the requested content. The resource locator includes a first digital signature associated with authorization of the client device to access the requested content, and a second digital signature associated with authorization of delivery of the requested content for access by the client device. An occurrence of an event is identified that indicates a change in the delivery of the requested content to the client device. A third digital signature associated with a changed delivery of the requested content is generated. A new resource locator is provided to the client device that includes the first digital signature and the third digital signature.

Self-validating data object locator for a media asset

Aspects of the disclosure relate to validation of a request for an asset based on information in the request. Validation of the request can be processed by a network node in a network repository that contains the asset. In one aspect, validation of the request can comprise determining if the request is legitimate based at least on processing at least a portion of the information in the request. In response to a legitimate request, the network node can process the request and, as a result, a data object associated with the asset can be supplied to a device originating the request. In the alternative, the network node can yield an exception.

Systems and methods for distributing, viewing, and controlling digital art and imaging

System and method for displaying digital content on a display device, including at least one digital content item configured to be displayed on the display device, a service cloud, including a server, first memory, and first processor, configured to store and manage digital content, and an application, configured to run on a computer with second memory, second processor, and user input device, and configured to communicate via the Internet with the display device and service cloud. In response to a signal from the user input device, the application detects a display of a digital content item on the interface, selects the item display from a virtual representation of a digital library on the interface, and moves the item display to a virtual representation of the display device on the interface. The service cloud processor sends the item to the display device.

Secure file distribution

Apparatuses, methods, systems, and program products are disclosed for secure file distribution. An apparatus includes a processor and a memory that stores code executable by the processor. The code is executable by the processor to divide a file that is intended for a recipient into a plurality of portions. The code is executable by the processor to associate each of the plurality of portions with a different one of the recipient's electronic devices. The code is executable by the processor to assemble the plurality of portions of the file for the recipient in response to authenticating the recipient on each of the recipient's electronic devices that is associated with a portion of the plurality of portions of the file.
