VERIFICATION OF SELECTED INBOUND ELECTRONIC MAIL MESSAGES
An email verification system is described. The email verification system stores names and associated email addresses. An email is received that has a sender name and a sender email address. If the email verification system determines that the sender name matches a stored name but the sender email address does not match with an email address associated with the stored name, the email is prevented from being transmitted to its recipient unless the email is verified as being legitimate. The email verification system transmits a request to verify the email via a configured verification method. If a response is received that verifies the email as legitimate, the email is delivered; otherwise the email is blocked.
Methods and systems for acoustic authentication
Systems and methods are disclosed for generating an acoustic authentication data entry interface. One method comprises generating a random sequence of characters and a visual user interface element comprising a plurality sections, each section of the visual user interface element being associated with a respective character of the generated random sequence of characters. A section of the visual user interface elements is displayed to a user. Concurrently, an audio recording of a character associated with the displayed section is played to the user. Based on determining user selection of the displayed section, the character associated with the displayed section is logged as part of an authentication data. When all of the characters constituting the authentication data are logged, an electronic transaction authorization request is sent to an acquirer processor.
Communication channel enhancement
A system for automatic authentication of service requests includes authentication of a remote access device. This authentication may be accomplished automatically prior to text or audio communication between a customer and a service agent. In some embodiments, authentication is accomplished automatically by authentication of the remote access device or accomplished by asking the customer questions. A single authentication of the remote access device may be used to authenticate a service request transferred between service agents. The authentication of the remote device may include, for example, use of a personal identification number, a fingerprint, a photograph, and/or a hardware identifier. Some embodiments include an intelligent pipeline configured for managing queues of customer service requests and/or customer service agent control over a customer's access device. Some embodiments include logic configured to manage and enhance communication channels between devices.
Queue management based on biometric authentication
A method performed by a user device may include obtaining biometric information relating to a user of the user device using a biometric sensor of the user device; determining that the biometric information is valid; generating a biometric indicator indicating that the biometric information is valid; providing a request for a callback from an entity, wherein the request includes the biometric information indicating that the biometric information is valid; and receiving the callback from the entity, wherein the callback is received based on the biometric information indicating that the biometric information is valid, and wherein the callback is associated with an entity identifier that is not provided to the user.
CONTACT LOOKUP OPERATIONS DURING INOPERABILITY OF MOBILE DEVICES
There are provided systems and methods for contact lookup operations during inoperability of mobile devices. A service provider, such as an online transaction processor, may provide additional services for secure contact lookup when a computing device of a user is nonoperational or unavailable. The user may establish a contact identifier and authentication mechanism with the service provider and allow access to the user's contacts. Once established, when the user's device is unable to access contacts and/or communication with other devices, the user may utilize the service provider for contact access through a contact lookup system. The user may utilize a different device to access a communication system or application and retrieve a data structure representing the user's contacts. The data structure may then be passed to the corresponding communication system or application interface system, which may then be output to the user.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PAIRING TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER DEVICES USING HDCP KSV KEYS
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to pairing HDCP-compatible transmitter and receiver devices. A transmitter device can scan one or more of its multimedia interfaces for a connected receiver device. When a connected receiver device is detected, the transmitter device determines whether the transmitter device is currently paired with the connected receiver device. If there is no current pairing, the transmitter device obtains at least a receiver KSV key from the receiver device and reads at least a transmitter KSV key from its memory. The pairing operation is either completed or terminated based on a user authentication process. If completed, the transmitter device encrypts at least the transmitter KSV key and the receiver KSV key. If terminated, the transmitter device disables the connected receiver device. Whether the pairing operation is terminated or completed, the transmitter device completes the bootup sequence.
Authentication method and system for a telecommunications system
An authentication method for a telecommunications system comprising a computer network and a telephone network that includes receiving, at an Authentication System across the computer network, data indicative of an authentication request. The request is typically made by a provider in connection with a user (e.g. by a provider to obtain authentication from a user as the result of an authentication trigger detected by a provider system). A telephone call is establishing by the telephone network between the Authentication System and a telephone device with a telephone number associated with the user. A PIN is received from the user at the Authentication System during the telephone call. It is then determined if the received PIN is valid. The authentication request is authenticated if the PIN is determined to be valid.
Methods and systems for providing a user with secure access to an online account
A method for providing a user with secure access to an online account, the method comprising: receiving, from an institution hosting the user account, a message containing data to be used in obtaining access to the user account, issuing a request to a communication device of the user to provide a voice sample to be used in authenticating the user, receiving a voice sample from the user, performing voice authentication based on the voice sample, and in the event the voice authentication is successful, providing the user with the data to be used in obtaining access to the user account.
Systems for securing transactions based on merchant trust score
Systems for securing transactions based on merchant trust score are disclosed. The system may receive information identifying a merchant from a user device and, in response, retrieve transaction data associated with the merchant and receive website data in response to receiving information identifying the merchant. The system may use a machine learning model to generate a merchant trust score for the merchant, and determine whether the merchant trust score is less than a predetermined threshold. The system may also generate or retrieve an alternative payment method and provide related information or a recommendation to the user device.
