An electronic element includes: a module for storing reference data; a module for receiving data from a processor; a module for verifying the received data by comparison by way of reference data; and a module for transmitting an instruction to cut off supply of the processor, the supply cutoff instruction being transmitted after occurrence of a failure event, the failure event being an absence of reception of data or a failure in verifying the data. A system including such an electronic element and a method for monitoring a processor by the electronic element are also described.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a data analysis system that may receive data comprising a plurality of raw data items from one or more data sources, such as a monitoring agent located in a monitored network. The received data may be scored using one or more scoring rules and/or algorithms, with raw data items satisfying a score threshold designated as “data item leads.” Raw data items associated with a data item lead may be searched and displayed to the user via an interactive user interface. The data analysis system may be used to execute searches and additional enrichments against the received raw data items. The data analysis system may group received raw data items based upon shared attribute values. The data analysis system may be used to categorize received data and construct timelines, histograms, and/or other visualizations based upon the various attributes of the raw data items.

The method can include identifying one or more inputs of the type of data used in another network application of the plurality of network applications stored in the data storage. A system and method of security assessment of a network is described. The system may include one or more security assessment computers controlled by a security assessor, and connected to a network, and first executable program code for acting as an agent on a first end device on the network. The first executable program code is configured to be executed by a browser application of the first end device, and is configured to collect software information, hardware information, and/or vulnerability information of the first end device and transmit the same to a first security assessment computer of the one or more security assessment computers. The information may be transmitted as part of a domain name server (DNS) request. The DNS request may include information identifying the first end device to thus allow modification of the first end device in response to analysis of the collected information.

Disclosed herein are a dynamic security module terminal device for receiving a dynamic security module and transmitting a security management event to a security server, and a method of operating the dynamic security module terminal device. The dynamic security module terminal device includes a communication unit configured to transmit and receive a security management event over a network, and a processor configured to control the communication unit. The processor is configured to create a security session with a security server, and to receive the dynamic security module from the security server so that part or all of code of the dynamic security module performing security management has a predetermined valid period.
