Systems and Methods for Dynamic Data Propagation Across Platforms

One method includes providing a plurality of events defined for a mobile application; providing a plurality of configuration options for the events, wherein the plurality of configuration options may include parameters; receiving an update to a first configuration option of the plurality of configuration options for a first event of the plurality of events in the list and a first parameter associated with the update; storing the updated first configuration option; transmitting to a first client device of a plurality of client devices running the mobile application, the updated first configuration option, wherein the updated first configuration option may cause the mobile application to monitor data of the mobile application for the occurrence of the first parameter; receiving from the first client device responsive to the first client device detecting the occurrence of the configuration option.

Interfaces for data monitoring and event response

A computing device is coupled to a display device, and includes a data monitoring software application program executing on a processor within a data monitoring system. Via the data monitoring software application program, various techniques are performed for generating user interfaces for data monitoring and event response. In a first technique, the data monitoring software application program displays a user interface that includes a first region including a data visualization and a second region including one or more images of a video stream. In a second technique, the data monitoring software application program generates a user interface associated with an event, receive an input corresponding to interaction with a user interface element in the user interface, and initiates an event channel associated with the event in response to the input.

An example developer tools system provided by a messaging system includes a software development kit (SKD) engagement monitor that permits capturing app open events in third party resources (e.g., third party apps) that use the developer tools system. The SKD engagement monitor is configured to operate in a manner that preserves privacy of the third party developers and avoids conveying to the messaging system backend environment personally identifiable information (PII) about the third party resource usage.

Activity detection in web applications

An analytics server receives from client computing devices end-user events. Each client computing device is operated by an end-user to access an application at a web server based on the end-user events resulting in calls being passed through a proxy to the web server. The analytics server receives from the proxy the calls being made to the web server, and receives return responses from the web server being passed through the proxy. The return responses correspond to activities being performed within the application. The end-user events are correlated with the corresponding calls and return responses from the proxy. Respective correlated end-user events, calls and return responses are translated into respective event vectors. The respective event vectors are processed to determine similarities among the client computing devices. The similar activities are associated with a quality indicator to identify anomalies within the application for corrective action to be taken.

STORAGE DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF

A storage device and an operating method thereof are provided. The storage device includes a non-volatile memory, an interconnect, a device controller and a buffer memory. The interconnect exchanges data with a host, receives a logging target setting request and a logging period setting request with respect to debugging information from the host, receives a debugging information logging request from the host, and receive a read request from the host. The device controller includes a buffer memory and controls the non-volatile memory, controls a logging operation on the debugging information based on a logging target and a logging period, which are requested by the host, in response to the debugging information logging request, and transmits the debugging information to the host in response to the read request. The device controller is further configured to logs the debugging information in the buffer memory according to the debugging information logging request.

AUTOMATED INTEROPERATIONAL TRACKING IN COMPUTING SYSTEMS

Techniques of automated interoperation tracking in computing systems are disclosed herein. One example technique includes tokenizing a first event log from a first software component and a second event log from the second software component by calculating frequencies of appearance corresponding to strings in the first and second event logs and selecting, as tokens, a first subset of the strings in the first event log and a second subset of the strings in the second event log individually having calculated frequencies of appearance above a preset frequency threshold. The example technique can also include generating an overall event log for a task executed by both the first and second software components by matching one of the strings in the first subset to another of the strings in the second subset.

Learning Causal Relationships

A computer-implemented method is provided that includes learning causal relationships between two or more application micro-services, and applying the learned causal relationships to dynamically localize an application fault. First micro-service error log data corresponding to selectively injected errors is collected. A learned causal graph is generated based on the collected first micro-service error log data. Second micro-service error log data corresponding to a detected application and an ancestral matrix is built using the learned causal graph and the second micro-service error log data. The ancestral matrix is leveraged to identify the source of the error, and the micro-service associated with the identified error source is also subject to identification. A computer system and a computer program product are also provided.

Telemetry system extension

A method of operating a telemetry system includes automatically populating a base field of a schema in an event definition using a logging library of the telemetry system for an event of an instrumented application, and automatically populating a conditional field of the schema in the event definition using the logging library in response to a selected condition for the event.
