METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING INPUT FUNCTION, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method for controlling an input function, an apparatus for controlling an input function and a storage medium thereof are provided. The an input function control method is applied to a first device connected to a input device and includes: in response to detecting that an input device sharing function is enabled and an input event sent by the input device is monitored, intercepting the input event; and forwarding the intercepted input event to a second device connected with the first device.
Ink file searching method, apparatus, and program
An ink file output method is provided, which includes: generating M (M is an integer of 1 or more) pieces of stroke data SD on the basis of event data generated as M input devices move, respectively; generating N (N is an integer of 1 or more and M or less) kinds of logical names LN (metadata) identifying the M number of input devices; generating a metadata block associating the M pieces of stroke data SD with the N kinds of logical names LN; and writing the M pieces of stroke data SD and the metadata block to an ink file.
DYNAMIC USER INTERACTIONS FOR DISPLAY CONTROL
The technology disclosed relates to using gestures to supplant or augment use of a standard input device coupled to a system. It also relates to controlling a display using gestures. It further relates to controlling a system using more than one input device. In particular, it relates to detecting a standard input device that causes on-screen actions on a display in response to control manipulations performed using the standard input device. Further, a library of analogous gestures is identified, which includes gestures that are analogous to the control manipulations and also cause the on-screen actions responsive to the control manipulations. Thus, when a gesture from the library of analogous gestures is detected, a signal is generated that mimics a standard signal from the standard input device and causes at least one on-screen action.
MULTI-TOUCH DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A multi-touch display panel includes: a display panel configured to display an image according to image data; a multi-touch panel arranged over the display panel and configured to generate touch data; and a communication module configured to communicate with a remote device. The remote device includes a display panel and a touch screen, and the communication module is further configured to receive the image data from the remote device and to provide the touch data to the remote device.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing device includes: a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to execute reception processing that includes receiving event information from a plurality of terminal devices, execute conversion processing that includes converting the event information received in a predetermined time period to a multitouch event in a format describing a plurality of touch events that occur at the same time; and execute notification processing that includes notifying a target application of the multitouch event via an operating system.
REDUNDANT TRACKING SYSTEM
A redundant tracking system comprising multiple redundant tracking sub-systems, enabling seamless transitions between such tracking sub-systems, provides a solution to this problem by merging multiple tracking approaches into a single tracking system. This system is able to combine tracking objects with six degrees of freedom (6DoF) and 3DoF through combining and transitioning between multiple tracking systems based on the availability of tracking indicia tracked by the tracking systems. Thus, as the indicia tracked by any one tracking system becomes unavailable, the redundant tracking system seamlessly switches between tracking in 6DoF and 3DoF thereby providing the user with an uninterrupted experience.
Techniques for interacting with handheld devices
In one embodiment of the present invention, a method for multiple device interaction includes detecting an orientation of a first device relative to a second device. The method also includes detecting a first gesture performed with either the first device or the second device, wherein the first gesture causes a first action that is based at least in part on the orientation of the first device relative to the second device.
COMMUNICATION METHOD
Provided is a communication method for communication performed between a pen and a sensor controller that, in operation, transmits uplink signals to the pen in a frame cycle. The communication method includes transmitting, by the sensor controller, a first uplink signal in a first frame, the first uplink signal including an identifier that identifies a type of data to be transmitted to the pen in a second frame following the first frame, and transmitting, by the sensor controller, a second uplink signal in the second frame, the second uplink signal including a value of the data of the type indicated by the identifier.
Digital-pointer interaction system and method of digital-pointer interaction
A digital-pointer interaction system is provided, which includes a display apparatus, a host, a wireless receiving device, and a plurality of wireless pointer devices. The host plays a display screen on the display apparatus, and executes a digital-pointer application. The digital-pointer application renders a plurality of pointer cursors on the display screen according to a number of wireless pointer devices connected to the wireless receiving device, and each wireless pointer device corresponds to each pointer cursor. Each wireless pointer device periodically emits an indication signal to the wireless receiving device, and the wireless receiving device transmits the indication signal to the host. The indication signal includes displacement information of each wireless pointer device. The digital-pointer application controls movement of each pointer cursor on the display screen according to the displacement information of each wireless pointer device.
System and method for simultaneous management of a plurality of designation peripherals
A recomposer allows connecting a plurality of designation peripherals to the same central unit of a computer system. The recomposer includes inputs for exchanging, with each of the designation peripherals, data normally exchanged with the central unit; includes an output for exchanging data with the central unit; includes digital processing means to transform the data received by the recomposer into emitted data. The data emitted are compliant in content and in structure to data which would be emitted by a designation peripheral with a single active surface, and correspond individually, on the single active surface, to the actions carried out with the designation peripherals. Several designation peripherals connected to a recomposer constitute an assembly which is connected to a central unit of a computer system and seen as a single designation peripheral.
