An embodiment provides a touch circuit including a touch driving circuit supplying touch driving signals to touch electrodes, a touch sensing circuit sensing capacitance changes of the touch electrodes through touch sensing lines, and multiplexers, connected with the touch sensing lines, each transferring a capacitance change of a touch electrode to the touch sensing circuit. Some of the touch electrodes of the touch circuit are selectively short-circuited depending on a driving mode of the touch circuit and the touch electrodes are electrically connected with each other through the connection of nodes of the touch electrodes.

Systems and Methods for Transmitting Haptic Messages

Systems and methods for transmitting haptic messages are disclosed. For example, one disclosed method includes the steps of: receiving at least one sensor signal from at least one sensor of a mobile device, the at least one sensor signal associated with a movement of the mobile device, determining a message to be displayed in a user interface based at least in part on the at least one sensor signal, and causing the message to be displayed.

HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAY AND INFORMATION DISPLAY APPARATUS

To provide a head-mounted display and an information display apparatus that match the intuition of the user and are excellent in operability. A head-mounted display 1 according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a reception unit 12, an image display element 14, and a display processing unit 132. The reception unit 12 receives an operation signal including information on a relative position of a detection target in contact with an input operation surface 21, which is output from the input device 2. The image display element 14 forms an image V1 presented to a user. The display processing unit 132 causes, based on the operation signal, the image display element 14 to display an operation image V10 with an auxiliary image P indicating a position of the detection target being overlapped on the image V1.

A hover touch compensation system and method may detect and track a hover position of a pointing/selecting device, such as a user's finger, relative to an input surface of a user interface, and may detect a point at which the pointing/selecting device initiates a movement toward the input surface of the user interface. The system may identify an intended contact point on the user interface based on the hover position of the pointing/selecting device relative to the input surface of the user interface at the point at which the movement toward the user interface is detected.

In some embodiments, a keyboard is located proximate to a touch sensor that is operable to perform one or more keyboard functions. The state of a touch sensor and/or interaction of an electronic device with the touch sensor is controlled or altered based on detection that an object is proximate to the keyboard. In other embodiments, input to input devices that are proximate are screened. The input devices are located sufficiently proximate that a first input device falsely detects input when a user is actually providing input to a second input device. In particular examples, a location of a user or other object relative to the second input device is determined using a proximity or other sensor. Based on the location, the electronic device determines the user or other object is in position to use the second input device and screens out or filters input from the first input device.

Display device including an input sensing part

A display device includes a display panel and an input sensing part disposed on the display panel. The input sensing part includes first sensing electrodes extending in a first direction and arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction, first lines connected to the first sensing electrodes, second sensing electrodes extending in the second direction and arranged in the first direction, and second lines connected to the second sensing electrodes. The second lines include second-first lines defined as j-th to k-th second lines, and the first lines are connected to the second-first lines.
