Method and system for generating and rendering a customized dashboard
This disclosure relates to method and system for generating and rendering a customized dashboard. The method includes initiating a schema-less dashboard canvas through a frontend application that invokes a server-less library. The method further includes integrating a set of widgets selected by a user, from the plurality of native widgets and from the plurality of third-party widgets, with the schema-less dashboard canvas using the server-less library. The method further includes generating metadata for each of the set of widgets based on a corresponding configuration performed by the user. The method further includes associating the metadata with a user account of the user for subsequent rendering of the customized dashboard for the user.
Method for sharing and searching playlists
A method for making a playlist available to the public, in which the playlist comprises user-defined descriptor information. The user-defined descriptor information is entered as free form text or prose.
Method and system for exploring similarities
A method and computer readable medium for exploring similar users and items of a media service includes generating a user interface. The user interface displays a user selectable indicia representing a similar member function for allowing a user to search a media service for at least one other user. The one other user has a degree of similarity with respect to the searching user. Another method includes facilitating the search of such a similar user within a media service.

Aggregation and classification of secure data
In one embodiment, a method includes managing and controlling a plurality of data-access credentials. The method further includes accessing data from a plurality of sources in a plurality of data formats. The accessing includes using one or more data-access credentials of the plurality of data-access credentials. The one or more data-access credentials are associated with at least a portion of the plurality of data sources. The method also includes abstracting the data into a standardized format for further analysis. The abstracting includes selecting the standardized format based on a type of the data. In addition, the method includes applying a security policy to the data. The applying includes identifying at least a portion of the data for exclusion from storage based on the security policy. Additionally, the method includes filtering from storage any data identified for exclusion. Further, the method includes storing the data in the standardized format.
Unified geograhic database and methods of creating, maintaining and using the same
A Universal Geographic Database (“UGD”) is provided that includes a real-time, automated registry/clearinghouse for the publication and retrieval of real-world locations and location-related information for businesses and other entities. By this registry, entities may publish their location and location-related information in a single place, and information services and their users can refer to this single place, via telecommunications devices, to obtain static, real-time location and location-based information about the registered locations. Each UGD record is keyed by a proprietary location address (PLA) based on the World Geographic Referencing System (WGRS). PLAs may be used as key reference and addressing terms, e.g., imbedded in digital documents, websites, GPS devices, or other information services to provide links to maps, directions, and information in the registry related to such locations. PLAs may also provide a concise, user-friendly notation for location naming and designating real-world locations and on all types of location-sensitive electronic devices.
