Keyboard assembly
A shelf bracket is provided. The shelf bracket includes a shelf member and opposing side flanges extending from a back plate. A front flange extends from each of said opposing side flanges. The back plate, shelf member, side flange, and front flange define a cavity configured to receive an enclosure, such as by moving the enclosure in a vertical direction in and out of engagement with the cavity. The shelf member defines a bottom limit of the cavity such that movement of the enclosure into the cavity is limited to a first vertical direction and movement of the enclosure out of the cavity is limited to a second vertical direction, the second vertical direction being diametrically opposed to the first vertical direction. A support flange is optionally included, which is configured to engage with a support structure so as to provide support for the shelf bracket.

Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to creating and administering artificial reality collaborative working environments and providing interaction modes for them. An XR work system can provide and control such artificial reality collaborative working environments to enable, for example, A) links between real-world surfaces and XR surfaces; B) links between multiple real-world areas to XR areas with dedicated functionality; C) maintaining access, while inside the artificial reality working environment, to real-world work tools such as the user's computer screen and keyboard; D) various hand and controller modes for different interaction and collaboration modalities; E) use-based, multi-desk collaborative room configurations; and F) context-based auto population of users and content items into the artificial reality working environment.
System and method for generating sound effects on fingertips with piezoelectric actuators of a haptic keyboard
A haptic keyboard of an information handling system may comprise a coversheet to identify a key location, a support layer, a contact foil placed between the coversheet and support layer, and a controller operatively coupled to the contact foil. The controller may receive a haptic actuation indicator signal via a processor or via the contact foil, send a first haptic feedback control signal to a first piezoelectric element to cause the first piezoelectric element to generate haptic tactile movement feedback at the key location, and send a second haptic feedback control signal to the first or a second piezoelectric element to cause the second piezoelectric element to generate haptic sound feedback in response to the haptic actuation indicator signal.
SHORTCUT KEYPAD FOR VISUAL ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
Shortcut keypad system for electronic communications comprises first apparatus and second apparatus. First apparatus and second apparatus each comprise an input device, a processor and a memory. The input device comprises selectable items including first selectable item. The processor of the first apparatus receives a selection of the first selectable item, and transmits a signal corresponding to the first selectable item to the second apparatus. The processor of the second apparatus receives the signal corresponding to the first selectable item, and causes the input device of the second apparatus to indicate that the signal corresponding to the first selectable item is received. Other embodiments are described herein.
Audio mobility map
A system for spatial representation of regions of interest for a visually impaired or blind person, comprises the following elements: at least one tactile map comprising a top surface and a bottom surface, the tactile map having tactile reference marks on the top surface and corresponding contact areas on the bottom surface, each tactile reference mark corresponding to a region of interest; a keyboard with a matrix of contact points configured to come into contact with the corresponding contact areas in response to pressure exerted on the tactile map positioned on the keyboard; and an electronic audio box, which can be actuated by the keyboard, the electronic audio box being provided with a multitude of audio recordings, each audio recording being associated with each tactile reference mark on the top surface of the tactile map.
Operating device, display control method, and recording medium recording display control program
An operating device according to the present invention includes a posture setter that sets a posture of the operating device with respect to a user to a first posture, a display processor that causes a predetermined object to be displayed toward a first direction in the display area of the operating device set to the first posture, a posture detector that detects a posture change of the operating device when the user changes the posture of the operating device, and a display changer that causes at least a part of object information included in the object to be displayed toward the first direction in the display area when the operating device changes the posture from the first posture to a second posture.
Image forming apparatus changing a display state of a software key on a display when a corresponding hardware key is pressed
An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus main assembly including a panel surface 57 capable of inputting information by displaying a software numerical key portion 58 and a numerical key portion 206 comprised of a plurality of hardware keys, and is provided with a general-purpose numerical key unit 200 capable of inputting information to the apparatus main assembly. The panel surface 57 includes a plurality of software keys corresponding to the numerical key portion 206, and in a case that a “1” key 206a of the numerical key portion 206 is in an ON state, the ON state of the “1” key 206a is displayed by using a “1” key 58a corresponding to the “1” key 206a.
Autoclavable tactile keypad for video endoscopes
A keypad includes a support, a snap disk on a first side of the support transformable from a released state to a loaded state, a cover forming a seal over the first side, a pocket in the cover, a magnet and a plunger disposed in the pocket, the plunger adapted to engage and transform the snap disk to the loaded state, a magnetic field sensor on a second side of the support, the second side opposite the first side and logic circuitry adapted to obtain a value of a strength of a magnetic field from the sensor, compare the value against a predetermined threshold value that corresponds at least approximately to the strength of a magnetic field, and when the plunger has transformed the snap disk to the loaded state and the value reaches or exceeds the threshold value, output a signal indicating that a key press occurred.
TOUCH CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE TOUCH CONTROL DEVICE
A touch control device includes a button including a metal complex and having an electrode groove formed therein, a signal deliverer arranged in the electrode groove and including a conductive material, and a substrate having a receiver formed thereon for receiving a signal from the signal deliverer.
NON-STANDARD KEYBOARD INPUT SYSTEM
An electronic communications method includes receiving, by a device, electronic information. The electronic communications method further includes receiving, by the device, additional electronic information. A time period between receiving the electronic information and the additional electronic information is less than another time period between receiving the electronic information and the additional electronic information by using a standard keyboard.
