A drawing unit configured to draw a print target content is instructed to draw a content and a predetermined element. Based on a notification from the drawing unit, which corresponds to the drawing instruction and has been made regardless of completion of drawing to the instruction, drawn data is acquired from the drawing unit. If the acquired data includes the predetermined element, a print apparatus is caused to execute printing based on the acquired data. If the acquired data includes no predetermined element, data is acquired from the drawing unit again without causing the print apparatus to execute printing based on the acquired data.

An image forming system includes an image forming apparatus and a terminal device. The terminal device converts a document into first print data, generates a second hash value corresponding to second object data in first print data, generates second print data, when the second hash value accords with the first hash value in a first storage device, by substituting the second object data in the first print data with the first hash value, and transmits the second print data to the image forming apparatus. The first instruction-set causes, when executed by the controller, the mobile terminal to receive a user operation to designate a designated second instruction-set through the input interface, and determine whether the memory stores designated device information including an operation ID identifying a designatable operation. When the designated device information is not stored in a memory, the mobile terminal searches for an image processing device capable of executing the designatable operation, receives a user operation to designate the designated device, stores designated device information in the memory, starts the designated program, obtains the operation ID of the designatable operation from the designated program, and transmits first instruction information to the designated device. The first instruction information is information causing the image processing device to execute the designatable operation identified by the operation ID as obtained.

An approach is provided for managing 3D printing processes using a 3D printing management service in a cloud-based environment. Configuration data is received corresponding to one or more available 3D printing devices which may be used to complete a 3D printing job. Build data is received corresponding to one or more 3D printing jobs requested for the one or more available 3D printing devices. The 3D printing management service utilizes the configuration data and the build data to select at least a particular 3D printing device to perform at least a particular 3D printing job based on a resourced load balancing determination. The build data is transformed to a format communicable to the particular selected 3D printer to allow it to perform the particular 3D printing job.

The emulator includes an access destination converter that converts access to the second storage by the guest controller into access to the certain region of the first storage after the second storage is stopped.

An information processing apparatus includes a first print medium database storing first print medium data items indicating attributes of a print medium. The information processing apparatus is coupled to a printing device including a second print medium database storing second print medium data items. The information processing apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to determine whether the first and second print medium databases are synchronized with each other; determine whether the second print medium data items stored in the second print medium database are supported in the information processing apparatus, when the first and second print medium databases are determined as not being synchronized with each other; and delete the first print medium data items stored in the first print medium database, and store, in the first print medium database, a second print medium data item determined as being supported.

An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of devices configured to perform different job processing, a control unit configured to control job processing performed by each device, a reception unit configured to receive an instruction for causing the control unit to shift to a state where the job processing is capable of being performed, and a power control unit configured to, when the control unit is shifted to a stand-by state in response to receiving the instruction, supply a power to a device specified based on a job processing function corresponding to an initial screen to be displayed.
