Method to Implement Traceability and Provability in Software Development

A method to implement traceability and provability on a particular project in software development based on blockchain-recorded transactions of assigned developer time, the method comprising of the following steps: setting up a blockchain network comprised of a distributed, redundant, and tamper-resistant ledger; issuing each user an attestable pre-fabricated and signed virtualized environment on approved hardware that comes with functionality required for the user's role implemented as one of a set of virtual machine templates fashioned from a signed and approved pre-fabricated image; and verifying that assigned developer time is valid, and if so, record each development action on the ledger to enable extensive tracking and auditing of end- to-end software development process.

Systems, methods, and non-transitory, machine-readable media to facilitate updating media devices in a local network with a client-server architecture are disclosed. A primary media device may be configured to operate as a server in a local network, receive audio/video (A/V) content via an Internet connection and/or a satellite network connection, serve the A/V content to a set of one or more secondary media devices for display with at least one television of a set of one or more televisions, and receive a set of one or more software updates via the Internet connection, a Universal Serial Bus (USB) connection, and/or the satellite network connection. One or more software updates of the set of one or more software updates may be specified for, and may be transferred to, the set of one or more secondary media devices.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FACILITATING STREAMING IN A LOCAL NETWORK WITH MULTIPLE SUBNETS

Systems, methods, and non-transitory, machine-readable media to facilitate streaming in a local network are disclosed. A primary media device may be configured to: operate as a server in a local network, receive audio/video (A/V) content, and provide the A/V content to a first display. A secondary media device may be communicatively connected to the primary media device and may be configured to: operate as a client with respect to the primary media device in the local network, receive the A/V content from the primary media device, and provide the A/V content to a second display. The primary media device and the secondary media device may use multiple subnets in the local network. The primary media device and/or the secondary media device may select a first subnet of the multiple subnets to use based at least in part on a type of content to communicate via the first subnet.

Selectively enabling features based on rules

Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system and method for performing operations comprising providing to a client device, a messaging application comprising multiple features; accessing a configuration rule that associates a device property rule with a feature; determining at a first point in time, that a property of the client device matches the device property rule associated with the configuration rule; in response to determining that the property of the client device matches the device property rule associated with the configuration rule, enabling the feature on the client device at the first point in time; receiving an updated property of the client device at a second point in time; and in response to determining that the updated property of the client device fails to match the device property rule associated with the configuration rule at the second point in time, disabling the feature on the client device.

Bootstrapping profile-guided compilation and verification

Apparatus and methods related providing application execution information (AEI) are provided. A server can receive a request to provide a software package for a particular software application. The server can determine composite AEI (CAEI) for the particular software application. The CAEI can include a composite list of software with data about software methods of the particular software application executed by a computing device other than the server. The server can extract particular AEI related to the particular software application from the CAEI. The particular AEI can provide compiler hints for compiling at least one software method predicted to be executed by the particular software application. The server can generate the software package, where the software package can include the particular software application and the particular AEI. The server can provide the software package.

Method and system for optimizing dynamic user experience applications

A method for determining an efficacy of an application includes identifying a plurality of application components deliverable within the application, identifying a component from the plurality of application components to execute to perform the step based upon a profile; providing the particular component; detecting an interaction with the provided component; and determining an efficacy of the application. A system for determining an efficacy of an application includes a processor and a memory storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing system to identify a plurality of application components deliverable within the application, identify, from the plurality of application components, a component to execute to perform the step, based upon a profile; provide the particular component; detect an interaction with the provided component; and determine an efficacy of the application, based at least in part upon the detected interaction.
