Method and apparatus for running applet
A method and an apparatus for running an applet are provided. The method includes: reading, in response to issuing an applet to a host application, a configuration file to determine a dynamic library referenced by the applet; loading the dynamic library referenced by the applet from a sandbox directory and/or an applet platform; and running, in response to a running instruction of the applet, a script code of the applet to call the dynamic library referenced by the applet. When the applet is run, the dynamic library referenced by the applet is loaded from the sandbox directory and/or the applet platform, and the dynamic library is no longer integrated into the applet package.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICES FOR CONNECTING TO A COMPUTING DEVICE AND WIRELESSLY RECEVING DATA FOR RENDERING OR OUTPUTTING AT THE COMPUTING DEVICE
A wireless communication device includes a structural device interface (e.g., a USB interface) for connecting to a computing device and a wireless interface for making a wireless connection to a mobile device. The wireless communication device activates after being connected to the computing device and automatically executes a software application stored in memory of the wireless communication device. Subsequent to being connected to the computing device and executing the software application, the wireless communication device is configured to wirelessly discover the mobile device and wirelessly receive data from the mobile device over a wireless channel, for rendering the wirelessly received data at the computing device.
Portable USB device for internet access service
A portable communication device includes a USB interface that is connectable to and disconnectable from an external USB port of a computing device by a user for enabling Internet access service to the computing device. In an example application, the portable communication device may include a wireless communication component with baseband and radio components. Upon connecting the portable communication device to the external USB port of the computing device by the user, the portable communication device activates wireless Internet service with protected data stored in the portable communication device, and the computing device is thereby enabled with wireless mobile Internet access on the go. The portable communication device may further provide Internet sharing feature to other wireless devices over a local wireless communication link that may be compatible to a protocol within IEEE 802.11. The portable communication device may be configured as an adapter sized dongle.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC GENERATION AND MANAGEMENT OF FEATURE LEVEL APPLICATION DIRECTORY
Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for automatically generating and managing application directories of one or more applications associated with an entity. The system is configured for identifying initiation of packaging of one or more program codes associated with at least one application, scanning the one or more program codes to identify one or more parameters associated with the one or more program codes, and automatically generating an application directory associated with the at least one application based at least on the one or more parameters identified by scanning the one or more program codes, wherein the one or more parameters comprise one or more dependencies, one or more screens, one or more permissions, one or more services, one or more navigational parameters, one or more base classes, one or more logging frameworks, and one or more static analyzers.
Integrated system to distribute and execute complex applications
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for maintaining an application through an execution platform. An example method generally includes receiving a first workflow definition of a plurality of workflow definitions associated with an application. The first workflow definition may be a workflow defining a build operation for building the application. The first workflow definition is executed to build the application by retrieving an executable binary from a binary repository, retrieving source code for the application binary from an application source code repository, building the application binary by executing the executable binary on the retrieved source code, and storing the application binary in the binary repository. A second workflow definition is received to execute the application. The second workflow is executed to execute the application by retrieving the application binary from the binary repository, and executing the retrieved application binary to run the application.
System, method, and computer program product for customizing functions of a point-of-sale terminal
Described are a system, method, and computer program product for customizing functions of a point-of-sale (POS) terminal. The method includes receiving payment device data from an electronic payment device of a user during a payment transaction between the user and a merchant. The method also includes receiving at least one script for execution on the POS terminal from the electronic payment device. The at least one script is associated with a digital signature. The method further includes verifying the at least one script based on the digital signature of the at least one script and executing the at least one script on the POS terminal to cause an action associated with a user interaction with the POS terminal to be performed.
Distributed job manager for stateful microservices
Two servers implemented as containerized applications may manage the storage of data and the access of that data by compute jobs in a distributed system. A metadata server may distribute data on ingress and assign files to particular storage volumes. The metadata server may then provide a lookup function for files and be configured to distribute a file to other volumes when necessary. A job server may launch jobs as containerized applications and coordinate data access across jobs.
Selectively filtering applications from an application volume
Examples disclosed herein provide systems, methods, and software for attaching an application to a computing system. In one example, a method of attaching at least one application to the computing system includes identifying an application attach triggering event, and identifying at least one application based on the application attach triggering event. The method further includes attaching an application volume to the computing system that contains the at least one application, and filtering one or more applications from the application volume that are not the at least one application.
The method further includes attaching an application volume to the computing system that contains the at least one application, and filtering one or more applications from the application volume that are not the at least one application
