METHOD, APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM FOR SCHEDULING TASKS
The present disclosure provides a method, an apparatus, and a non-transitory computer readable medium for scheduling tasks. The method includes acquiring task information of a current task to be executed, the task information describing the current task to be executed; determining an execution time for the current task to be executed according to the task information; and comparing the execution time with a preset scheduling time corresponding to the current task to be executed, and adjusting an actual scheduling time corresponding to a next task to be executed according to the comparison result so as to determine whether to schedule the next task to be executed
INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM AND STREAM PROCESSING SYSTEM
An information processing method includes accepting a query including first information for specifying a target period and a condition for extracting a processing result, selecting, based on the query, a processing unit that has a processing result updated in the target period from among a plurality of the processing units included in the stream processing infrastructure by referring to correspondence information representing, in association with each other, second information indicating each of the plurality of the processing units and third information indicating a timing of a last update of a processing result by the processing unit, and transmitting, to the selected processing unit, a request to execute a predetermined process on the processing result that has updated in the target period and satisfies the condition.
TIME MANAGEMENT FOR ENHANCED QUANTUM CIRCUIT OPERATION EMPLOYING A HYBRID CLASSICAL/QUANTUM SYSTEM
Systems, computer-implemented methods and/or computer program products are provided for facilitating time management of a quantum program at one or more nodes of a system, such as a hybrid classical/quantum system. A system, such as a classic portion of the hybrid system, can comprise a memory that stores computer executable components and a processor that executes the computer executable components stored in the memory. The computer executable components can comprise a time management component that can communicate with a node to trigger the node to execute one or more quantum program instructions relative to a counter of the node that is advanced by the communicating. The time management component can advance the counter at the node based upon a combination of time of another node and of a determined actual propagation time for the communicating.
Systems and methods for margin based diagnostic tools for priority preemptive schedulers
In one embodiment, a method for margin determination for a computing system with a real time operating system and priority preemptive scheduling comprises: scheduling a set of tasks to be executed in one or more partitions, wherein each is assigned a priority, wherein the tasks comprise periodic and/or aperiodic tasks; executing the set of tasks on the computing system within the scheduled periodic time window; introducing an overhead task executed for an execution duration controlled either by the real time operating system or by the overhead task; controlling the overhead task to converge on a point of failure at which a length of the execution duration of the overhead task causes either: 1) a periodic task to fail to execute within a deadline, or 2) time available for the aperiodic tasks to execute to fall below a threshold; and defining a partition margin corresponding to the point of failure.
Method and apparatus for reporting channel state information in wireless communication systems
A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system includes: receiving, from a base station, configuration information associated with a channel state information (CSI) report including at least one information associated with a CSI resource setting; receiving, from the base station, information associated with channel occupancy duration; determining whether at least one symbol for receiving a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) is within channel occupancy duration, based on the at least one information associated with the CSI resource setting and the received information associated with the channel occupancy duration; receiving, from the base station, at least one CSI-RS on the at least one symbol, based on a result of the determining; and when the CSI report is determined to be transmitted, transmitting; to the base station, the CSI report based on the configuration information associated with the CSI report and the received at least one CSI-RS.
RESOURCE SCHEDULING METHOD AND RELATED APPARATUS
The present disclosure relates to resource scheduling methods and apparatuses. In one example method, a scheduling node receives a task. The scheduling node obtains a target execution duration level to which the task belongs, where the target execution duration level represents a time length, and the target execution duration level indicates to use a target compute module of a target compute node in multiple compute nodes to execute the task. The scheduling node sends the task to the target compute node.
QUERY AND UPDATE OF PROCESSOR BOOST INFORMATION
A query operation is performed to obtain information for a select entity of a computing environment. The information includes boost information of one or more boost features currently available for the select entity. The one or more boost features are to be used to temporarily adjust one or more processing attributes of the select entity. The boost information obtained from performing the query operation is provided in an accessible location to be used to perform one or more actions to facilitate processing in the computing environment.
SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AND OPTIMIZING COMPUTING RESOURCE USAGE OF CLOUD BASED COMPUTING APPLICATION
A system of monitoring and optimizing computing resources usage for computing application may include predicting a first performance metric for job load capacity of a computing application for optimal job concurrency and optimal resource utilization. The system may include generating an alerting threshold based on the first performance metric. The system may further include, in response to a difference between the alerting threshold and a job load of the computing application within an interval exceeding a threshold, predicting a second performance metric for job load capacity of the computing application for optimal job concurrency and optimal resource utilization. The system may further include, in response to a difference between the first performance metric and the second performance metric exceeding a difference threshold, updating the alerting threshold with a job load capacity with the optimal resource utilization rate corresponding to the second performance metric.
SECURE COMPLIANT STORAGE OF SERVER ACCESS DATA
Methods and apparatuses are described for secure compliant storage of server access data. A server computing device generates one or more access logs based upon data access requests executed on a first compliant data storage container comprising a plurality of files. The server computing device stores the one or more access logs in a non-compliant data storage container and establishes a second compliant data storage container. The server computing device retrieves, from the non-compliant data storage container, the access logs stored therein and stores the access logs in the second compliant data storage container.
CPU utilization for service level I/O scheduling
One or more aspects of the present disclosure relate to service level input/output scheduling to control central processing unit (CPU) utilization. Input/output (I/O) operations are processed with one or more of a first CPU pool and a second CPU pool of two or more CPU pools. The second CPU pool processes I/O operations that are determined to stall any of the CPU cores.
