Example meters disclosed herein include a user interface to accept user input in response to activation of a prompting indicator. Disclosed example meters also include a controller to activate a light projector to project light onto a first projection area of a surface, the light projector activated in association with the activation of the prompting indicator. In some examples, the controller is also to control the light projector to project light onto a second projection area of the surface in response to expiration of a time period without receipt of any user input responsive the activation of the prompting indicator.

An assembly for monitoring an area is provided. The assembly can include two or more cameras sensitive to radiation of distinct wavelength ranges. The fields of view of the cameras can be substantially co-registered at the area to be monitored. The assembly can include a computer system which can process the image data to monitor the area. The computer system can be configured to identify relevant objects present in the area, update tracking information for the relevant objects, and evaluate whether an alert condition is present using the tracking information.

Disclosed example metering methods also include, in response to determining the meter is to enter the first prompting mode, activating a light projector to project light onto an external surface of a display screen of a media device. Disclosed example metering methods further include, after the light projector is activated, deactivating the light projector in response to determining the meter is to exit the first prompting mode.
