One or more aspects of the present application relate to systems and methods for collecting, processing and generating information regarding risk assessments related to fire events. More specifically, one or more aspects of the present application relate to processing of inputs to generate assessments corresponding to a characterization of risk for individual structures within a defined region. Other aspects of the present application relate to processing of inputs to generate assessments corresponding to a modeling or characterization of fire behavior risk within a defined region. Such assessments of structural risk or fire behavior risk can be utilized in accordance with fire mitigation or personnel organization response to structural risk or fire behavior risk.

Encoded data along tape based on colorspace schemes

Techniques to transmit encoded data along a physical medium, e.g. tape, and decode the transmitted data along the physical medium are provided. Some techniques include logic to encode data transmitted along a physical medium, such as a tape suitable for any purpose including the encoding of multimedia data, where the encoding is pursuant to a conversion between a first and second colorspace. The logic may further be configured to decode the data once it is received at a node along the tape, where the colorspace conversion provides the basis, key, or cipher for preforming the decoding operation. The logic may be further configured to alter the encryption and decryption basis, key, or cypher by altering the colorspace scheme defining the encoding (and by extension the decoding) during transmission, including a transmission that takes place after a previous transmission governed by the previously defined (and subsequently altered) colorspace conversion scheme. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

The information code has an information code area constituted of colored information cells with two or more colors, the information code area having the specific information recorded using the information cells as information units, and a teacher code area having teacher cells with the same colors and the same number of colors as the information cells so as to identify the colors of the information cells. In the information code, the teacher code area is placed away from the information code area or inside the information code area.

PER-CHANNEL COLOR BARCODES FOR DISPLAYS

A method of decoding a coherent RGB color barcode captured by a RGB camera includes: displaying a coherent RGB color barcode on the RGB display; capturing an image of the displayed barcode; performing a pilot block RGB color interference cancellation process to estimate a per pixel color interference; applying the per pixel color interference to the image of the displayed coherent RGB color barcode to extract each separate barcode of the coherent RGB color barcode; binarizing each of the three separate monochrome grey images of each barcode of the coherent RGB color barcode; and decoding each of the three separate binarized monochrome grey images to provide a decoded data for each barcode of the coherent RGB color barcode displayed on the RGB display. A method of decoding an incoherent RGB color barcode captured by a mobile device RGB camera is also described.

INVISIBLE COATED INFRARED PATTERNS

An article having an invisible infrared pattern is disclosed. The article includes at least one infrared pattern printed onto a surface. The infrared pattern includes regions of high absorption and high reflection for a plurality of wavelengths of infrared radiation ranging between 700 and 2000 nm. A coating is overlaid over the infrared pattern. The coating is made of a material and has a thickness that is penetrable by infrared radiation and that has an average opacity of at least 20 for light in the visible range.

Printing system and method

A printing system and method print different colors onto a target object to form a machine-readable data representation having a symbol contrast of at least 40%. The printing system and method direct print heads to print the different colors by printing a base layer of a first color of the different colors on the target object and printing an upper layer of a different, second color of the different colors on top of the base layer of the first color, or by printing print the machine-readable data representation as an interdigitated data representation by printing the different colors onto the target object so that none of the different colors is printed on top of another color of the different colors.

PRINTING SYSTEM AND METHOD

A printing system and method direct a printing assembly to apply a first ink of a first color toward first areas of a machine-readable data representation on a corrugated material surface, and direct the printing assembly to apply a second ink of a second color toward second areas of the machine-readable data representation on the corrugated material surface. The second color of the second ink is different from the first color of the first ink. The first and second areas are not identical to each other. The printing assembly is directed to apply the first ink and to apply the second ink to form the machine-readable data representation for machine scanning of the machine-readable data representation while on the corrugated material surface.
