METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING TOOLS

A method and a system for identifying tools intended for tools comprising a marking provided with at least one optically readable symbol. The system comprises, in particular, one or more image capture devices covering a checking area and a calculator. Several tools are positioned by an operator in the checking area, then an image of the checking area is captured by each image capture device. Next, at least one complete symbol is detected in at least one image by an image processing operation carried out by the calculator, and one or more detected tools corresponding respectively to a detected complete symbol are identified. Finally, a list comprising each detected tool is determined.

Systems and methods for detecting potential shrink events via RFID technology are provided. The systems include a point of sale (POS) system that includes an optical scanner, an RFID transceiver arrangement, a user interface and a controller. The controller is configured to perform example methods disclosed herein. For example, the controller may detect that the optical scanner has decoded a barcode, trigger the RFID transceiver arrangement to write a data string to an RFID tag located within the object scanning area, conduct a detection operation to detect the RFID tag with the data string in the bagging area. Responsive to detecting the RFID tag with the data string, the method involves the user interface performing a first operation. Responsive to not detecting the RFID tag with the data string, the method involves the user interface performing a second operation.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR POSITIONING, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

Provided are a method and device for positioning, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. The method includes: receiving a positioning indication, herein the positioning indication indicates positioning of a first item, and the first item has a first electronic tag; obtaining RSSIs of a plurality of second electronic tags, herein the plurality of second electronic tags include the first electronic tag; determining, based on the RSSIs of the plurality of second electronic tags, at least one third electronic tag; and positioning, through the at least one third electronic tag, the first item.

Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to systems and methods for detecting misplaced items in an establishment. In one implementation, the system may include at least one processor configured to receive from at least one reader in the establishment, identification signals of tags read by the reader; determine current locations of the tags; and record the current locations of the tags. The processor may also be configured to access a designated location in the establishment for each of the tags; and determine, by comparing the current locations with the designated locations, a particular tag with a current location that differs from the designated location of the particular tag. The processor may also be configured to generate a notification signal when the current location of the particular tag does not match the designated location of the particular tag.

Trolley detection and safety system

This invention relates to a method to detect the connection between two food processing—, food-preparation and/or handling-devices (1, 2), wherein one device (1) comprises detection means (31) with a sensor (6) and sensor activation means (18). The invention further relates to a set with a first device (1) and a second food processing—, food preparation and/or handling device (2), which are reversibly connected wherein the first device (1) comprises a safety device (10, 20) with a sensor (6) and an activation means (18).

ENHANCED CONTACTLESS VEHICLE CODES

Devices, systems, and methods for contactless vehicle codes are presented. A method may include receiving, by a vehicle, a first request to present a code associated with an activity. The method may include sending a second request to a device, the second request indicative of the activity. The method may include receiving, from the device, the code, wherein the code includes information associated with the activity. The method may include presenting, using a display of the vehicle, the code.

Usage, condition and location tag and system

A Usage, Condition and Location System (UCLS) tag is provided, which is an active RFID tag that, in addition to location, is configured to determine the usage state and operating condition of a device. The UCLS tag includes sensors that measure physical activity of the associated equipment (vibration, magnetic activity, temperature, etc.). Algorithms may use the information obtained from the UCLS tags to map the measured sensor data to a contextual usage state and operating condition of the device.

Cattle tracking system

An animal tracking system comprising a first LoRa receiver configured as a gateway to receive transmissions on a first set of channels or a second set of channels and forward said transmissions to a first remote server, and a transmitting tag configured to be affixed to an animal. The transmitting tag includes a memory configured to store digital information, a passive RFID receiver configured to detect a close proximity to an RFID transmitter and store detection of the close proximity in comprising in the memory, a processor configured to determine an alarm status according to a frequency of detection of the close proximity, an internal energy source, and a LoRa transmitter configured to transmit signals for a distance greater than 100 meters via energy from the internal energy source.
