Implant inventory control system and method
The preset invention is an inventory-parts control system and supervisory arrangement suitable for tracking the actual use of and accounting for the ultimate disposition of at least some of the individual pieces constituting an implant (or a complete implant construct), which is then being surgically engrafted in-vivo. This inventory-parts control system and supervisory arrangement is accurate, reliable, and fully functional for inventory part control purposes during the surgery; and will account for the ultimate disposition of each required component item of that implant (or complete implant construct) individually and in a timely manner, as each part is individually surgically introduced and engrafted in-vivo at a preselected anatomic site upon or within the body of a living subject.
Method for generating and using a 2D barcode
A method of generating and using a 2D barcode to provide an authenticated service subscriber with an adapted offer comprising monitoring and identifying, by a monitoring application associated with a first service provider, a social network for keywords related to a negative subscriber interaction with a second service provider; engaging a subscriber associated with the negative interaction by the first service provider; generating a one-time use 2D barcode associated with an offer and comprising embedded subscriber information; storing the barcode in a data store; sending the barcode to a mobile device; presenting and scanning the barcode; decoding the information by an offer application; authenticating the identity of the subscriber; adapting the offer based on the subscriber information; searching an inventory data store associated with a physical retail location of the first service provider; locating and presenting the adapted offer; and marking the barcode as expired in the barcode data store.
FOOD FRESHNESS NOTIFICATION FROM PERSONAL FOOD INVENTORY
A personal food inventory system (PFIS) allows for storage of food items in a personal inventory associated with a user account, as well as tracking of food items consumed by the user account. The PFIS is linked to an application for communicating between an account user and the PFIS items that are received into the personal inventory and items consumed or otherwise removed from the personal inventory. The PFIS is linked to one or more preferred vendors for easy entry of items into the personal inventory. The PFIS also provides recommendation of dishes the account user can prepare based on the personal food inventory and/or a vendor inventory associated with the preferred vendor. The PFIS further provides user notifications for items nearing their expiry date. The PFIS also provides notification to the account user regarding usage of the personal food inventory system by tracking consumption.
METHOD FOR FACILITATING DISMANTLING A PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULE
A method for facilitating dismantling of a photovoltaic module includes steps of: obtaining, by an input module, product data of the photovoltaic module from a module information indicator provided on the photovoltaic module; retrieving, by a processor, a product identification code of the photovoltaic module by matching the product data against a database; generating, by an equipment controller, a control command based on the product identification code; and sending, by the equipment controller, the control command to a dismantling equipment to set equipment configuration parameters for the dismantling equipment to dismantle the photovoltaic module.
Establishing Network Pairing
A machine causes capture of an image that depicts an optically readable code exhibited by a measurement device that corresponds to a scheduled medical procedure. The machine then determines, based on the optically readable code depicted by the captured image, a hardware identifier of a network interface of the measurement device and a location identifier of the measurement device. The machine next identifies the medical procedure based on the location identifier determined based on the optically readable code exhibited by the measurement device. The machine establishes a network connection with the measurement device based on the determined hardware identifier of the network interface of the measurement device. The established network connection may provide access to measurement data generated by the measurement device that corresponds to the scheduled medical procedure identified based on the location identifier of the measurement device.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING TOOLS
A method and a system for identifying tools intended for tools comprising a marking provided with at least one optically readable symbol. The system comprises, in particular, one or more image capture devices covering a checking area and a calculator. Several tools are positioned by an operator in the checking area, then an image of the checking area is captured by each image capture device. Next, at least one complete symbol is detected in at least one image by an image processing operation carried out by the calculator, and one or more detected tools corresponding respectively to a detected complete symbol are identified. Finally, a list comprising each detected tool is determined.
GROUP USER MIGRATION METHOD, APPARATUS AND DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A group user migration method includes: creating a target graphic code and a corresponding first group in a first application in response to a group user migration request, the group user migration request being used for requesting to migrate a user in any group in a second application to a group in the first application; sharing the target graphic code to a target group in the second application in response to a sharing request for the target graphic code; determining a group to which the user belongs in the second application in response to a request of any user in the second application for joining the first group; and joining the user to the first group of the first application in response to determining that the user belongs to the target group.
Method, apparatus, and system for characterizing an optical system
Techniques for characterizing an optical system (for example, a printer verifier) are provided. In this regard, the optical system may be characterized for scanning a printed image. The characterization of the optical system includes determining an effective aperture size of the optical system, and correspondingly an effective resolution at which the optical system can be configured to scan a portion of the printed image according to verification requirements.
In-store card activation
A user having an account with a payment provider receives an unregistered payment card that is associated with the payment provider, and that includes a magnetic strip encoded with a number unique to the card and a machine readable code such as a QR/barcode embossed thereon. The user may then open an application on the user's mobile device to capture the number associated with the card by, for example, scanning the QR/barcode, capturing an image of the number, speaking the number into the device, or manually entering the number into the user's device. The user may also authenticate with the payment provider by entering login credentials. The user may then confirm a request to link the number of the card with the user's payment provider account, which activates and links the card to the user account so that the user can immediately use the card for purchases.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANAGEMENT OF NON-FUNGIBLE TOKENS AND CORRESPONDING DIGITAL ASSETS
Systems and techniques are described for situational token-associated media output. A system receives sensor data captured by at least one sensor of a media device. The system identifies, based on the sensor data, a relationship between the media device and an anchor element that is associated with a token. The system identifies the token in a payload of at least one block of a distributed ledger. The token corresponds to media content according to the distributed ledger. The system generates a representation of the media content corresponding to the token. In response to identifying the relationship between the media device and the anchor element, the system outputs the representation of the media content.
