The fingerprint sensing module comprises a fingerprint sensor and a display configured to display information to the user; the display comprising pixel elements being arranged in the display such that the pixel elements do not obscure a sensing area of the fingerprint sensor in which area the fingerprint sensor is being configured to detect a finger of the user.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USING A BIOMETRIC PAYMENT DEVICE

Systems and methods are described related to using flexible circuity in a payment device. In one embodiment, a payment device comprises a computing device and a memory. The computing device is configured to store a biometric identifier associated with a transaction account. The computing device is configured to at least receive, by the antenna, an interrogation signal from a point of sale (POS) device in order to activate the payment device for a payment transaction. The computing device is configured to determine a scanned fingerprint identifier of a user based at least in part on the interrogation signal activating the payment device and authenticate the scanned fingerprint identifier by matching the scanned fingerprint identifier to the biometric identifier. The transaction account is transmitted to the POS device for processing the payment transaction based at least in part on the authentication of the scanned fingerprint identifier.

LIVESTOCK HEART RATE MEASUREMENT WITH BOLUS SENSOR

Various examples describe a livestock monitoring system and method. A sensor signal may comprise a rotational component describing a rotation of the sensor within an animal and a linear component describing a linear movement of the sensor within the animal. The rotational component may be used to identify an animal respiration signal. The animal respiration signal and the linear component may be used to generate a respiration-corrected linear component. An animal heart signal may be detected from the respiration-corrected linear component.

Disclosed is a smart badge device that can be included into a private LTE network established in a facility. The device includes position tracking and estimating capabilities, and operates along with a cloud-based service suite. The cloud services act as a platform between the device and a number of facility software systems. The device also operates with internal and external equipment so that an administrator can track employees and establish data flow between the badge and the facility software systems.

Multi-purpose smart card with user trusted bond

The present disclosure relates a new generation “smart card” designed to create a severable invisible “bond” between the cardholder and the smart card itself where this trusted bond relationship is used to enhance and simplify the authentication process and during the use of the multi-purpose smart card. This new smart card is initiated and connected to a specific user using biometric information added to the card and the user using biometric information connects via a trusted bond with the card by pairing the biometric information which can be severed in one of multiple ways. The trusted bond with the smart card can be broken in one of multiple ways including disconnection from a network, distancing from the user, impact accelerometers, outside parameters, etc. The multi-function smart card also uses this established trusted bond with the user to simplify the authentication of the user for use of the card in encrypted computer network, ground security, or other retail and payment function.
