Because a shape of the memory card is the same as that of a nano subscriber identity module (SIM) card, and a size of the memory card is the same as that of the nano SIM card, a nano SD card is provided.

Memory circuitry is configured to store a representation of a respective electrical connection status of the memory contacts.

At least one of the code pixels, disposed in a particular direction from the reference point, emit the infrared light to provide a code pattern having position information.
