PRINT SYSTEM, PRINT APPARATUS, METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A print system includes an image processing apparatus and a print apparatus that receives a print job processed by the image processing apparatus and prints an image on a sheet. The print apparatus determines whether or not a print job received from the image processing apparatus is a measurement target for measuring an image printed on a sheet, measures the image on the sheet printed by executing a print job that has been determined to be the measurement target, and transmits the result of measurement to the image processing apparatus. The image processing apparatus generates a print job serving as a measurement target, and upon receiving the result of measurement based on the transmitted print job, applies the result of measurement to a print job to be printed by the print apparatus.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMATION MANAGEMENT APPARATUS, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM HAVING STORED THEREIN IMAGE FORMATION CONTROL PROGRAM
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit that outputs an image to a transfer medium on the basis of a job and a control unit that controls the image forming unit. The control unit is capable of outputting all sheets and outputting designated sheets in outputting the job and, when outputting the designated sheets, changes output control content according to whether the designated sheets are output as sheets for replacement media.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
To make it possible to suppress a delay of the start of rendering of a page even in the case where image data is included across the band boundary in the page of print data. The image processing apparatus of the present invention is an image processing apparatus that performs rendering by dividing a page into a first area and a second area based on print data and includes: a memory configured to store image data arranged across the first area and the second area; a first render configured to access the image data and to perform rendering by using pixels within the first area of all pixels of the image data; and a second render configured to access the image data and to perform rendering by using pixels within the second area of all pixels of the image data.
PRINT OUTPUT CONTROL DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A print output control device operably connected to a printer, is configured to periodically check a first buffer sequentially storing print data received from the printer; accumulate, when the print data is stored in the first buffer, the stored print data in a second buffer; store, when status information on the printer is included in the print data, the status information in a status storage unit; store, when a first function is executed, in a third buffer, the print data accumulated in the second buffer to send back the stored print data as an acquisition value for the first function; and store, when a second function is executed, in a third buffer, the print data accumulated in the second buffer from when the second function is executed to send back the stored print data as an acquisition value for the second function.
GENERATING MODIFIED IMAGES FROM SEED IMAGES
In an example, a method includes selecting a unique identifier corresponding to a set of rules. At least one modified image is generated from a seed image using a processor by determining and applying an image attribute modification to the seed image according to at least one rule in the set of rules of the unique identifier. The modified image is placed in a predefined position according to at least one rule in the set of rules of the unique identifier.
Colorspace encoding multimedia data on a physical page
Techniques to improve storage of information, including encoding of multimedia data on physical pages. Some techniques include logic configured to encode multimedia data pursuant to a colorspace scheme and on a piece of paper. The logic may further be configured to generate one or more colorspaces associated with the multimedia data, perform colorspace conversions based on the generated colorspaces, and encode the multimedia data pursuant to the colorspace conversions. The logic may be further configured to apply one or both of an ultraviolet layer and an infrared layer to the physical page, e.g. paper, in order to further enhance security and provide an additional vehicle for storing and encoding data on the physical page, e.g. paper. The logic may further be configured to provide a scanning device with the ability to scan and decode the encoded data one the sheet of paper. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Printing apparatus for performing double-sided printing of a scanned document that contains sheets having different sizes
A printing apparatus having a copying function includes a document feeder that feeds a document, an image reading section that scans the document fed from the document feeder and generates image data of the document, a printing section that performs printing on paper in accordance with the image data, and a controller. The controller performs an avoidance process of avoiding performing the printing in which a size of a sheet of the document and a size of the paper do not match against an intention of a user, in a case where a setting is made in which the document, on which single-sided printing is performed, is printed on both sides of the paper to perform double-sided printing, and the document includes sheets having different sizes and includes an odd number of successive sheets with an identical size.
Image processing apparatus, control method thereof, and storage medium
An image processing apparatus uses a first rendering processor that performs rendering of a first area within a page based on print data and a second rendering processor that performs rendering of a second area within the page based on the print data. The image processing apparatus includes a controller, having a processor which executes instructions stored in a memory or having circuitry, being configured to acquire image data arranged across the first area and the second area based on the print data, cause the first rendering processor having accessed the image data to acquire all pixels of the image data and to perform rendering with pixels within the first area of all the pixels of the image data, and cause the second rendering processor having accessed the image data to acquire all the pixels of the image data and to perform rendering with pixels within the second area of all the pixels of the image data.
