POINT-OF-SALE TERMINAL FOR DYNAMIC MODE MANAGEMENT OF MULTIPLE CARD READERS
An apparatus for dynamic credit card reader mode management is provided, the apparatus including: a point-of sale (POS) terminal, configured to accept employee login credentials via a magnetic stripe card, to display menu items for selection, to add selected menu items to an order, and to accept payment for the order, where the payment may be obtained via swipe, dip, or tap, the POS terminal including: a first card reader, configured to read first provided cards when enabled; a second card reader, configured to read second provided cards when enabled; and a dual reader controller, coupled to the first and second card readers, configured to determine one or more workflow states of the POS terminal, and configured to dynamically control modes of the first and second card readers according to the one or more workflow states.
CARD RETAINING MEMBER AND CARD CONNECTOR SET
To enable compatibility with smaller, thinner, and multi-polarized cards, to enable miniaturization, flattening, and multi-polarization and increase reliability. Therefore, provided are: a tray housing including a recessed part capable of housing a card, a bottom wall part that defines the bottom surface of the recessed part, and a tray terminal housing recess formed on the bottom wall part; and tray terminals that are arranged on the bottom wall part which includes a main body at least part of which is retained by the bottom wall part, a first contact part and a second contact part that are connected to both ends of the main body part respectively, of which the first contact part is contactable to the connector terminal and the second contact part is contactable to the electrode pad; where the first contact part is fixed and exposed on the opposite side to the bottom surface of the recessed part of the bottom wall part, and the second contact part is housed in an elastically deformable manner in the tray terminal housing recess in a state where at least the point of contact thereof protrudes from the bottom surface of the recessed part.
Storage Card
A storage card is capable of sharing a card slot with a standard SIM card. A missing corner edge used for defining a mistake-proof missing corner is disposed on each of the storage card and the standard SIM card. When another edge of the storage card overlaps another edge of the standard SIM card, at least a part of the missing corner edge of the storage card is located on an outer side of a projection line that is of the missing corner edge of the standard SIM card and that is on the storage card. A storage wafer is disposed in the storage card, and a vertex angle of the storage wafer falls between the missing corner edge of the storage card and the projection line.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing forming at least a portion of an electronic device exterior, a socket disposed inside the housing, a tray and a storage medium. The storage medium includes a first terminal surface with a terminal and a second terminal surface with a terminal. The first and second terminal surfaces face away from one another. The storage medium is seatable on the tray.. The socket includes a plurality of first conductive contacts that face the first terminal surface and come into contact with at least some of a plurality of pins provided on the storage medium and a plurality of second conductive contacts that face the second terminal surface and come into contact with at least some of the plurality of pins of the storage medium in a state of being disposed not to come into contact with the plurality of first conductive contacts.
Storage card
A storage card is capable of sharing a card slot with a standard SIM card. A missing corner edge used for defining a mistake-proof missing corner is disposed on each of the storage card and the standard SIM card. When another edge of the storage card overlaps another edge of the standard SIM card, at least a part of the missing corner edge of the storage card is located on an outer side of a projection line that is of the missing corner edge of the standard SIM card and that is on the storage card. A storage wafer is disposed in the storage card, and a vertex angle of the storage wafer falls between the missing corner edge of the storage card and the projection line.
Card socket, card connector, and manufacturing method therefor
The present disclosure relates to a card socket into which a card tray capable of loading a plurality of electronic cards is inserted, a card connector, and a manufacturing method therefor. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a card socket is for electrically connecting a card having a terminal unit to an electronic device, the card socket comprising: a conductive shell; a nonconductive middle plate; an upper contact terminal; and a lower housing having a lower contact terminal, wherein the upper contact terminal is integrally coupled to the shell by interposing the middle plate therebetween, and the shell is coupled to the lower housing so as to form, therein, an accommodation space in which at least one card is accommodated.

DUAL SIM CARD CONNECTOR
A dual subscriber identity module (SIM) card connector is provided that includes a lower connector housing portion having a bottom surface and an upper connector housing portion having a top surface. The upper connector housing portion is coupled to the lower connector housing portion to define an opening for a receiving space between the upper and lower connector housing portions. The opening and receiving space are sized and shaped to slidably receive a SIM card tray. The connector includes a first plurality of electrical contacts disposed at the bottom surface of the lower connector housing portion and configured to make contact with a first SIM card disposed on a first side of the SIM card tray when the tray is received within the receiving space. The connector includes a second plurality of electrical contacts disposed at the top surface of the upper connector housing portion and configured to make contact with a second SIM card disposed on a second side of the SIM card tray opposite the first side when the tray is received within the receiving space.

A card tray structure, a card tray assembly, and an electronic device. The card tray structure includes a card tray. The card tray includes a supporting body. The supporting body is a frame enclosed by a frame edge. A first platform portion is arranged at an edge on one side of the frame edge to form a first card slot, and a second platform portion is arranged at an edge on an other side of the frame edge to form a second card slot. The card tray further include: a first connecting beam and a second connecting beam, where the first connecting beam is arranged correspondingly to the second card slot, and the second connecting beam is arranged correspondingly to the first card slot.
