The product module assembly is configured to releasably engage at least one product container. A first RFID tag assembly configured to be positioned on the at least one product container. The at least one product container is configured to position the first RFID tag assembly within a detection zone of the RFID antenna assembly whenever the product module assembly releasably engages the at least one product container.
FARADAY CAGE FOR DIGITAL SET SCREW PROBE READER
A medical implant identification system is disclosed. The implant identification system may include a probe reader extending from a proximal end to a distal end and the distal end may include a faraday cage. The probe reader may be in communication with an operating room computer and/or a display. The implant identification system may include at least one digital set screw comprising an antenna disposed in an antenna portion of the digital set screw. In various embodiments, the faraday cage may have a size and shape corresponding to a size and shape of the antenna portion of the digital set screw. Additionally, the antenna may be configured to transmit identity information to the probe reader, and the identify information may be displayed by the display and/or stored in a data store of the operating room computer.
System, device, product, apparatus, and method for reading syringe information
A reader includes a first antenna, a second antenna spaced apart from the first antenna, an RFID reader circuit, and a processor. The first antenna and the second antenna are connected to the RFID reader circuit. The first antenna is configured to receive a first signal from an RFID tag. The second antenna is configured to receive a second signal from the RFID tag. The processor controls the RFID reader circuit to determine a first value of a signal parameter associated with the RFID tag based on the first signal and a second value of the signal parameter associated with the RFID tag based on the second signal, receives, from the RFID reader circuit, the first value and the second value, and determines, based on the first value and the second value, whether the RFID tag is located between the first antenna and the second antenna.
WIRELESS TAG READING DEVICE
A wireless tag reading device of an embodiment that is for reading tag information of a wireless tag attached to an article housed in a housing portion, including: a bottom surface portion; and a plurality of side surface portions erected upward from an end of the bottom surface portion, the housing portion being surrounded by the bottom surface portion and the side surface portions, in which the wireless tag reading device includes: inside the side surface portions, an antenna that radiates a radio wave into the housing portion; a radio wave reflecting unit that is provided outside the antenna and that reflects the radio wave radiated from the antenna toward the housing portion; and a radio wave absorbing unit that is provided at an upper portion of the radio wave reflecting unit and that absorbs the radio wave radiated from the antenna.
RFID System and Method

The product module assembly is configured to releasably engage at least one product container. A first RFID tag assembly configured to be positioned on the at least one product container. The at least one product container is configured to position the first RFID tag assembly within a detection zone of the RFID antenna assembly whenever the product module assembly releasably engages the at least one product container.
Wireless tag communication device and wireless tag communication program
A wireless tag communication device for communicating with a wireless tag through a directional antenna includes a wireless tag communication section configured to communicate with the wireless tag, a calculation section configured to estimate a direction range for communicating with the wireless tag based on transmission output power of the wireless tag communication device and an estimated reading distance to the wireless tag, and a display section configured to display the estimated direction range.
Data collector for use in monitoring a lyophilisation process of a product in a test product container in a lyophilisation chamber, corresponding system comprising the data collector, and use of data collector
A data collector for use in monitoring a lyophilisation process of a product in a test product container in a lyophilisation chamber, said data collector comprising a battery, a measuring device including an electronics unit and a sensor configured for being arranged in said test product container, a first compartment in a first portion, a second compartment in a second portion, a first end surface configured for resting on the support surface, and a second end surface opposite to the first end surface, wherein said first and second portions are arranged side-by-side when seen in a plane defined by the first end surface, and wherein the battery is housed in the first compartment and the electronics unit of the measuring device is housed in the second compartment, such that the battery and the electronics unit are separate from each other.
Method for extending the range of commercial passive RFID elements
A system that exploits collaboration between a plurality of spatially distributed RFID readers to enhance the range of commercial passive RFID tags, without alteration to the tags. The system uses distributed MIMO to coherently combine signals across geographically separated RFID readers. It is capable of inferring the optimal beamforming parameters to beam energy to a tag without any initial knowledge of the location or orientation of the tags.
High density read chambers for scanning and encoding RFID tagged items
High density read chambers are provided for scanning and/or encoding a plurality of RFID tagged items. Such chambers may include an enclosure with an interior defined by upper and lower surfaces, with a sidewall extending therebetween. An access (such as a door) may be associated with at least one of the surfaces or the sidewall, with the access being at least partially opened to access the interior of the enclosure from an outside location. The chamber further includes an antenna positioned within the interior of the enclosure and an RFID reader associated with the antenna.
