A reading apparatus includes a communication unit, a scanner, and a processor. The communication unit communicates with a wireless tag provided on paper. The scanner scans the paper. The processor acquires data from the wireless tag through the communication unit, acquires an image from the paper by using the scanner, and generates a file in which the data is embedded in the image as hidden characters.

A game token tray system includes a game token tray having a dual tray structure in which a game token is stored. The game token tray system includes a double tray including a lower tray and an upper tray stacked on the lower tray to store a game token provided with an RF tag in which tag information is stored, a camera that acquires tray image data by imaging the game token stored in the upper tray, an RIFD reading device that reads the tag information from the RF tag of the game token stored in the lower tray, and a game recording device that records the tray image data and/or an image analysis result of the tray image data about the game token stored in the upper tray and records the tag information read by the RFID reading device about the game token stored in the upper tray.

A display system includes a plurality of tags and a detection device. Each tag of the plurality of tags stores an identification code for identifying that tag, generates electric power upon receiving light that contains identification information to be compared with the identification code, and emits light using the electric power of that tag when the identification information contained in the received light matches the identification code. The detection device generates image data in accordance with an input of the identification information on a selected article, projects scanning light containing identification information on the position of the tag extracted from the generated image data, and, when emitted light from any of the plurality of tags is detected from the image data acquired during a period in which the scanning light is projected, projects marking light within a range attached with the tag that has emitted light.

A game token tray system includes a game token tray having a dual tray structure in which a game token is stored. A system and a method for authenticating and certifying a physical item are provided. The system has an identification tag coupled to the physical item and having a relevant tag identifier adapted to be read at a distance, a non-fungible cryptographic token issued on a predetermined digital register distributed in a plurality of nodes of a processor network and configured to store the relevant tag identifier of the identification tag coupled to the physical item and data or information representative of the physical item, and detectors for detecting the presence of the identification tag of the physical item passing nearby a predetermined detection area or through a predetermined detection gate. Data indicative of the presence of the physical item in the predetermined area or the physical item passing through the predetermined gate is recorded in the non-fungible cryptographic token. The physical item may be a garment, a sportswear item, a collectible, or a luxury item.

Methods and systems for providing authentication of dispensed prescriptions include utilizing one or more authenticator indicia, wherein the authenticator indicia have a plurality of indicia components including unique identification number for associating a dose of medication in a database. The authenticator indicia are configured on dose containers, such as blister packs and pill packs, to be scannable by a third-party scanning tool. The scanned information can be received by an authentication communication system to establish authenticity and other information such as adherence and compliance information related to the dispensed prescriptions.

A method for controlling personal protective equipment. The method includes positioning of a person equipped with personal protective equipment next to an electrical enclosure, wherein a specific personal protective equipment requirement is defined for the electrical enclosure. The method further includes scanning the personal protective equipment in a contact-less manner while the person is next to the electrical enclosure. Thereby scanned personal protective equipment information are generated. The method further includes comparing the scanned personal protective equipment information with the specific personal protective equipment requirement and evaluating, based on the comparison, whether the personal protective equipment is in accordance with the specific personal protective equipment requirement. The method further includes providing a feedback indicating whether or not the personal protective equipment is in accordance with the specific personal protective equipment requirement.

According to one embodiment, an antenna apparatus includes a ground plate having an opening, a ground layer on a first side of the ground plate, an antenna on the first side of the ground plate and connected to the ground layer, the antenna being disposed around the opening, and a conductive member on the first side of the ground plate to contact an outer perimeter of the opening. The conductive member is electrically connected to the ground layer.
