Information processing apparatus, print system, and information processing method
An information processing apparatus operates to acquire first information concerning a size of a print region where a barcode is printed, to generate, based on the acquired first information, image data of the barcode to be printed in the print region, and to set a lower limit of the width of each bar forming the barcode. The first information includes width information concerning a width of the print region and height information concerning a height of the print region. The generated image data includes, as a bar forming the barcode, a bar having a width based on the width information and a height based on the height information, and the image data is generated if a minimum width of each bar forming the barcode is equal to or larger than the set lower limit.
Microcontroller-based code reader and related method and device
A microcontroller-based code reader and method of reading a machine-readable indicia may include capturing, by an imager, an image of a machine-readable indicia disposed an object. An image subsample of an image captured by the imager may be read from the imager. The image subsample or partial image data may be stored in an embedded memory of a microcontroller in electrical communication with the imager. The machine-readable indicia may be decoded from the image subsample.

The present disclosure describes method, apparatus, and storage medium for identifying an identification code. The method includes obtaining, by a computer device, a to-be-detected picture. The computer device includes a memory storing instructions and a processor in communication with the memory. The method also includes detecting, by the computer device, an identification code in the to-be-detected picture to obtain a detection result, the detection result comprising target information of a target code corresponding to the identification code; sampling, by the computer device, the target code according to the target information, to obtain a sampled image; and decoding, by the computer device, the sampled image, to obtain an identification result corresponding to the identification code.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus comprising: an input unit configured to input image signals which include a first signal and a second signal lower in spatial resolution than the first signal; an obtaining unit configured to obtain information about a spatial high-frequency component of the first signal which is included in the image signals input by the input unit; a generation unit configured to generate an expanded second signal obtained by expanding the spatial resolution of the second signal included in the image signals by using the information about the spatial high-frequency component of the first signal obtained by the obtaining unit; and an output unit configured to output a processed image signal which includes the expanded second signal generated by the generation unit.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO READ BARCODES ON REFLECTIVE SURFACES
Example methods and apparatus to read barcodes on reflective surfaces are disclosed herein. An example method for handling a reflective surface in an imaging reader includes capturing one or more images of a surface of an item; detecting whether a specular reflection is present in the one or more images; when a specular reflection is detected, processing one or more additional images of the surface using a predetermined pattern of first processing suitable to identify a barcode on a reflective surface and second processing suitable to identify a barcode on a non-reflective surface; and when a specular reflection is not detected, processing one or more additional images of the surface using the second processing suitable to identify a barcode on a non-reflective surface.
Efficient parallel barcode subpixel alignment
A camera-based barcode reader captures an image, determines a region of interest of a barcode within the image, and generates a barcode image from the region of interest. The camera-based barcode reader aligns each of multiple horizontal regions within the barcode image to a reference horizontal region within the barcode image. The alignment of a horizontal region includes (i) determining a set of alignment parameters to apply to the horizontal region based on a comparison of the reference horizontal region to the horizontal region when adjusted to different combinations of alignment parameters and (ii) adjusting the horizontal region according to the set of alignment parameters for that horizontal region. After aligning the barcode image, the camera-based barcode reader decodes the barcode from the barcode image.

INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, PRINT SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
There is provided an information processing apparatus. A first acquisition unit acquires first information concerning a size of a print region where a barcode is printed. A generation unit generates, based on the first information acquired by the first acquisition unit, image data of the barcode to be printed in the print region. The first information includes width information concerning a width of the print region and height information concerning a height of the print region. The generation unit generates the image data including, as a bar forming the barcode, a bar having a width based on the width information and a height based on the height information.
