The first pixels are included in a direction toward an origin of the extended image from a pixel corresponding to the element of the integral image. The processor generates a partial-sum matrix for each pixel of a reduced image using the integral image. A value of each element of the partial-sum matrix is a sum of pixel values of second pixels of the extended image. The second pixels are included in an area corresponding to the element of the partial-sum matrix. The processor performs a convolution operation on the partial-sum matrix using the filter matrix.

A method of performing context-based autonomous perception is provided. The method includes acquiring perception sensor data as an image by an autonomous perception system that includes a processing system coupled to a perception sensor system. Feature extraction is performed on the image by the autonomous perception system. The feature extraction identifies one or more features in the image. Contextual information associated with one or more conditions present upon acquiring the perception sensor data is determined. One or more labeled reference images are retrieved from at least one of a contextually-indexed database based on the contextual information, a feature-indexed database based on at least one of the features extracted, and a combined contextually- and feature-indexed database. The image is parsed, and one or more semantic labels are transferred from the one or more labeled reference images to form a semantically labeled version of the image.

According to an embodiment, a reproduction device includes an acquirer, a decoder, and a synthesizer. The acquirer is configured to acquire transmission information including first and second coded data. The first and second coded data are generated by encoding first and second image data, respectively. At least one of the first and the second image data is lossy encoded. The first and second image data being generated by performing conversion processes different from each other on original image data. The decoder is configured to decode the first and second coded data to generate first and second decoded data. The synthesizer is configured to synthesize the first and the second decoded data with adjusting pixel positions of the first and the second decoded data so that the pixel positions of the first and the second decoded data are identical to each other to generate reproduction image data.

The method further includes analyzing the media data to determine characteristics of the media content item based on first visual information contained in the media content item. The method further includes analyzing the characteristics of the media content item based on a media popularity model to generate a prediction of whether the media content item is likely to exceed a popularity threshold within a particular period of time. The method further includes determining, at the computing device, a network location at which to store the media content item based on the prediction.

In one aspect, the method includes submitting a plurality of images to a computer-operated convolutional neural network that is configured to analyze image pixel data for each of the plurality of images to identify features, in each of the plurality of images, influencing a download probability of the corresponding image in a plurality of geographic regions. The method also includes receiving, from the neural network and for each of the plurality of images, a download probability of each image for each of the plurality of geographic regions. Creating flexible structure descriptions of documents with repetitive non-regular structures

Disclosed are systems, computer-readable mediums, and methods for creating a flexible structure description. To create the flexible structure description an image of a document of a particular document type that contains a table is received. An entry describing an item in the table is received. Title elements within the document are searched for based upon the entry. Data fields and anchor elements are detected for the entry. A flexible structure description for the particular document type is generated that includes a set of search elements for each data field in the image of the document and the title elements. The flexible structure description is matched against the image. Data from the image is extracted based upon the matching of the flexible structure description against the image.
