SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR VERIFYING THAT ONE OR MORE DIRECTIVES THAT DIRECT TRANSPORT OF A SECOND END USER DOES NOT CONFLICT WITH ONE OR MORE OBLIGATIONS TO TRANSPORT A FIRST END USER
Computationally implemented methods and systems that are designed for receiving one or more first directives that direct a transportation vehicle unit to transport a first end user; receiving, while the transportation vehicle unit is en route to or is transporting the first end user, one or more second directives that direct the transportation vehicle unit to transport a second end user while transporting the first end user, the transportation vehicle unit having been determined to be able to accommodate transport of the second end user while transporting the first end user; and verifying that compliance with the one or more second directives will not conflict with one or more obligations to transport the first end user by the transportation vehicle unit. In addition to the foregoing, other aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text.
Itinerary Generation Apparatus, Itinerary Generation System, Itinerary Generation Method and Computer Program Product
An apparatus (1100) for generating an itinerary a travelling object has travelled comprising an input unit configured to receive location information data (3001 . . . 300n) from a mobile computer (1200) of said travelling object; an itinerary generation unit (1113) which is configured to generate itinerary history data (1105) including a plurality of itinerary subsection information data 6001 . . . 600n); and an output unit (1115) which is configured to output at least one itinerary of the travelling object based on the itinerary subsection information data (6001 . . . 600n) and based on a weight value to the mobile computer (1200).
Travel Management System
Described herein is a travel management system configured to: accept, as input, selected dates for the start and end of a leisure portion of a trip and the start and end of a business portion of a trip; accept, as input, service data for each of one or more services; for each of the one or more services, access an associated rule set and conduct a first availability search based on the service data in respect of a first pair of the input dates that is selected based on instructions in the rule set; and select one or more of the results of the first availability search for display to a user.
MULTI-STAGED EVENT PROCESSING BASED ON CLIENT DEVICE DATA
A network computer system operates to determine one or more transport service parameters for an upcoming scheduled event at a mass egress location. One or more activities associated with the scheduled event are monitored to determine whether to update the one or more transport service parameters. Based at least in part on the one or more transport parameters, a set of relocation parameters is determined, including (i) an intermediate location where the service provider is to be located to provide the user with the transport service, and (ii) an intermediate arrival time when the first service provider is to arrive at the intermediate location before the pickup time. Based at least in part on a current location of a selected service provider and the intermediate arrival time, a relocation time when the service provider is to initiate travel to the intermediate location is determined.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FINDING LODGING FOR TOURING ARTISTS
A lodging reservation system is configured to receive lodging requests and display the lodging requests through a user interface. The system receives lodging offers in response to the lodging requests, and transmits the lodging offers to the originator of the lodging request. The system further is configured to receive a selection of a lodging offer from the transmitted lodging offers.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SHORT-RANGE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN DEVICES
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for communicating between devices using short-range communication links. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to systems and methods for communicating access-right data between devices for verification or transfer.
MAPPING SYSTEM
A mapping system that stores user profile data and geographic information system (GIS) data. The mapping system identifies topics of interest to the user, identifies component maps that are relevant to the topics of interest, and generates composite maps of geographic locations having unique combinations of attributes relevant to the topics of interest. The boundaries of the geographic locations may be adjusted to conform to subnational boundaries. The composite maps provide functionality for users to identify locations of interest. The mapping system may receive third-party geographic data and organize it into a hierarchical taxonomy. The mapping system may then provide a graphical user interface to identify items of interest to the user, for example in locations of interest to the user. The third-party geographic data may further include transportation and accommodations information and the mapping system may generate an itinerary for travelling to the locations or items of interest.
Method and apparatus for providing contextual services
Provided are systems and methods for contextually providing services via a portable computer at a selected location. According to some embodiments, the systems and methods include processes for determining location-specific information about the selected location, determining status information about a user of the portable computer interface, and displaying an available service to the user on a display screen of the portable computer, the available service being selected based on the location-specific information and the status information.
Restricting airplane pushback based on gate hold times
A misconnect management system models the movement of passengers, bags, and crew through flights and airports. In various embodiments, a misconnect management system identifies potential misconnected passengers and provides recommendations and input configured to support decision makers, such as ramp controllers and operations controller, in evaluating hold/no hold decisions for a flight. Via use of the misconnect management system and associated methods, misconnected passenger numbers may be reduced, expenses associated with missed connections may be reduced, and organizational efficiency may be improved.
Optimizing interfaces for mobile devices
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, that optimize interfaces to present information on mobile device displays. In one aspect, a method includes generating and providing, to a device, data that causes the device to present a status of one or more segments between a first location and a second location within a calendar interface. The calendar interface includes a calendar and, for each date having at least one existing segment, a respective non-textual segment indicator for each existing segment for the date. Each segment indicator is presented using visual feature(s) that represent the status of the segment represented by the segment indicator. A determination is made that the status of a given segment has changed to a second status. The visual feature(s) of the segment indicator for the given segment are visually updated within the calendar interface to represent the second status.
