Engineering support system, engineering support method, client device, and storage medium

An engineering support system that supports engineering of a process control system, the engineering support system includes: a server device that creates a work list including work order information that specifies a work order of work included in the process control system; and at least one client device that gives work authority to each worker based on the work list issued by the server device and that enables work on devices included in the process control system within a scope of given work authority to be implemented in the work order.

Supply chain replenishment simulation

Event-based replenishment simulation for an enterprise supply chain is described. On a per item, per node, per epoch basis, the simulation may generate a stream of action events based on forecasted demand, supply chain logic, and policy inputs that are applied to a current-run state of the supply chain in order to yield a stream of observation events. Requested metrics may be received, and the observation events may then be transformed to predict values for the metrics as output of the simulation. The simulation may be repeated for a given epoch using discrete demand values from a demand distribution, for a plurality of epochs, and/or across a plurality of items at a plurality of nodes. Resultantly, the simulation output can be used for predicting a future run-state of the supply chain across items and nodes.

Methods and systems for task execution in a workplace

According to the embodiments illustrated herein, a method is disclosed. The method comprises receiving, by a computing device comprising a processor, an input from an operator device, wherein the input facilitates determining a task to be performed. Further, the method comprises activating, by the computing device, a first light device associated with a first location in a workplace in response to receiving the input, wherein the first location is associated with the task to be performed. Furthermore, the method comprises receiving, by the computing device, a first voice input from the operator device, indicative of an exception encountered during execution of the task. Additionally, the method includes modifying the task, in response to determining that the first voice input is indicative of the exception encountered during execution of the task.

Methods and systems for generating and manipulating electronic vehicle checklists using web-based editing tool

Disclosed are methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for a web-based process to generate electronic checklists and deploy electronic checklists. One method may include: receiving bulk data from a user device; parsing the bulk data to form a loadable database for an electronic procedure system of a vehicle; generating a rendering of an electronic checklist of one or more electronic checklists based on the loadable database; transmitting a first message to the user device, the first message including the rendering of the electronic checklist; iteratively performing an authoring process using a web-based tool to update the loadable database; receiving a second message from the user device, the second message including an instruction to transmit the updated loadable database to the electronic procedure system of the vehicle; and transmitting a third message to the vehicle, the third message including the updated loadable database.

Automation system and method

Graph-Based Industrial Flow Model Building System, Apparatus, and Method

Various embodiments of the teachings herein include a method for building a graph-based industrial flow model. The method may comprise: importing a set of entities based on an industrial flow including a user-defined entity and a system-defined entity; querying the model for the user-defined entity, and if found, obtaining a connection of the user-defined entity, otherwise generating a new implementation layer; querying the model for an implementation layer of the user-defined entity, and if found, obtaining a connection of the implementation layer of the user-defined entity, otherwise generating a new implementation layer; querying the model for the system-defined entity, and if the system-defined entity is found, obtaining a connection of the system-defined entity, otherwise generating a new implementation layer; and iteratively performing the above queries until a final graph-based model for the industrial flow results.
