Additionally, the present disclosure provides for a proportionally dimensioned representation of the item in the augmented reality display. The method comprises obtaining a plurality of attributes associated with a corresponding item. The method comprises obtaining a set of container parameters associated with a corresponding container. The method comprises obtaining one or more constraints, wherein the one or more constraints limit assigning items in a same container. The method comprises determining an assignment of the items to the one or more containers, based on the attributes, the set of container parameters and the one or more constraints. The method comprises outputting, based on the assignment, an assignment plan of the items into the one or more containers.

A user request associated with a first user and a shipment of one or more items is received. A prompt that the first user provide one or more biometric identifiers is provided. The prompt selectively excludes a request for billing information from the first user. At least partially in response to the providing of the prompt, at least a first biometric identifier of the first user is obtained. At least partially in response to the obtaining of the first biometric identifier of the first user, the billing information is automatically processed. Based at least in part on the automatically processing of the billing information, the user request associated with the shipment of the one or more items is completed.

The present disclosure provides a technology capable of favorably using a vehicle driven by a driver or an autonomous vehicle as a delivery vehicle to deliver goods. An information processing apparatus includes a controller including at least one processor configured to execute assigning either a first vehicle that is a vehicle driven by a driver or a second vehicle that is an autonomous vehicle as a delivery vehicle to deliver goods to a user. When a predetermined event other than the delivery of the goods to the user is requested to be performed at a delivery destination, the controller selects the first vehicle as the delivery vehicle.

Rule data sets are received. These rule sets are associated with constraints controlling how records that are associated with the goods are consolidated. These goods are to be received for importing. An estimate score indicative of the risk for inspection for a first set of goods that are to be imported is generated. Based at least in part on the rule data sets and the generated estimate, a plurality of records are consolidated to a single instance for the first set of goods. Based on the consolidating, a user interface is caused to be generated that renders information associated with the consolidating.

An apparatus is provided for facilitating cross-platform authentication. The apparatus may include at least one memory and at least one processor configured to detect that a visual token includes data indicating one or more authentication credentials for accessing a communication device in response to scanning the visual token. The computer program code may further cause the apparatus to communicate the authentication credentials of the detected visual token to the communication device to request the communication device to determine whether the authentication credentials are valid for a user. The computer program code may further cause the apparatus to enable access to the communication device in response to receiving an indication from the communication device that the authentication credentials of the detected visual token are valid. A system includes storage compartments, each of the storage compartments being configured to store shipments and having a locking mechanism and a computing system that controls operations of the storage compartments. The computing system performs: receiving a request from a providing entity to reserve a portion of the storage compartments, obtaining identification information of a requesting entity requesting a shipment from the providing entity, generating a scannable code; transmitting the scannable code and the identification code of the requesting entity to the providing entity, determining a compartment of the storage compartments to be reserved to temporarily store the shipment, detecting a scan of the scannable code or an input of the identification code on a computing device at a terminal of a location of or adjacent to the reserved determined compartment, and in response to detecting the scan or the input of the identification code, opening the reserved determined compartment.

In some embodiments, the shipping container is associated with a mobile user profiles within a mobile application. A retailer makes a sale, then, using a mobile application, associates the container with the destination address and the MFA details associated with the buyer's mobile application account. Once the container is loaded up, the container will not open again except for the buyer using the buyer's MFA authentication credentials.
