A system includes a secondary computing device not owned by a user, a hardware processor, a memory and instructions that cause the processor to generate a transient wallet identifier (ID) for a transient mobile wallet, the transient mobile wallet being of limited duration, and provide a configuration user interface the user, presenting configuration information for the transient mobile wallet. The processor also identifies a usage specification for the transient mobile wallet defining allowed uses for the transient mobile wallet. The processor also activates the transient mobile wallet on the secondary computing device, receives a payment transaction approval request, compares the payment transaction data to the usage specification, determines that the payment transaction data is non-conforming, and transmits a rejection message for the first payment transaction.

Integrating mobile payment application with other mobile applications while preventing security exposures

A method, system and computer program product for integrating a mobile payment application with other mobile applications while preventing security exposures. A set of application programming interfaces of mobile applications that may possibly be utilized by a pass created by a mobile payment application is generated in response to receiving an indication that the pass was created. A “pass,” as used herein, refers to a form of mobile payment, such as a gift card. A selection of these application programming interfaces may then be received to interact with the created pass. In this manner, the existing mobile applications are seamlessly integrated with the features of passes. Furthermore, a virtual container is created for the created pass and the selected application programming interfaces to interface with the created pass. By creating such a container, the data to be exposed to the application layer can be controlled.

Methods and systems for enhancing purchase experience via audio web-recording

A computer system includes a processor programmed to process a first web page to identify a hyperlink contained thereon. The hyperlink includes a link to a second web page. The processor performs natural language processing on the first web page to determine one or more context word tokens and on the second web page to determine a context of the second web page. The processor also applies a context relevant tag to the hyperlink to generate a tagged hyperlink. The processor maps at least one of the context word tokens to the context relevant tag applied to the hyperlink and generates a transaction score for the tagged hyperlink.

A device and method for managing personal data. A request for an identifier (ID) token corresponding to a user is received from a virtual wallet. The ID token is generated and transmitted to the virtual wallet, where the ID token is then presented to a third-party entity by a device of the user. A request for the personal data corresponding to the ID token is received from the third-party entity. A trustworthiness score is determined that corresponds to the third-party entity based at least in part on an analysis of entity data corresponding to the third-party entity. The trustworthiness score and received request are transmitted to the virtual wallet and passed on to the user device. An indication of acceptance of the request and encrypted personal data associated with the generated ID token are received from the virtual wallet and transmitted to the third-party entity for processing.

A user conducts a wireless payment transaction with a merchant system by transmitting payment information from a user device to a terminal reader without accessing a secure element resident on the user device. A user taps a user device in a merchant system's terminal reader's radio frequency field. The terminal reader and the user device establish a communication channel and the terminal reader transmits a signal comprising a request for a payment processing response. The signal is received by the user device and converted by a controller to a request understandable by an application host processor. The controller transmits the request to the application host processor, where the request is processed, and a response is transmitted to the controller and then to the terminal reader. The response generated by the application host processor is identifiable by the merchant system as a payment response.
