Apparatus and method for processing virtual credit cards for digital identities
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium has instructions executed by a processor to maintain digital identities. Each digital identity has identity attributes different than identity attributes associated with a real individual utilizing the digital identity. Each digital identity has an associated attribute for compartmentalized network activity. Interactions between the digital identities and a virtual card provider are supported to secure virtual cards for the digital identities. Interactions between the digital identities and a persona management application are brokered, including delivering the virtual cards for the digital identities to the persona management application.
Systems configured for validation with a dynamic cryptographic code and methods thereof
Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable operation authorization using a dynamic code. Embodiments includes a computing system for receiving, from an access control server, an operation authorization request to authorize an operation by an initiator, where the operation authorization request includes a user identifier associated with the operation authorization request, and a dynamic code. The computing system accesses a dynamic key embedded in a user credential associated with the user identifier and generates a recalculated dynamic code using a cryptographic algorithm and the dynamic key. The computing system authenticates the operation authorization request based on the dynamic code being equivalent to the recalculated dynamic code and returns the authentication to the access control server to authorize the operation.
System, method and computer-accessible medium for authentication of rewards information
An exemplary system, method and computer-accessible medium can include receiving information regarding a purchase by a person, receiving financial account information regarding a financial account associated with the person that was used to fund the purchase, generating rewards information associated with the purchase, generating an authentication token(s) based on the financial account information, sending the rewards information and the authentication token(s) over a network, and receiving a confirmation, over the network, that a rewards account associated with the person has been updated.
Contactless payment relay attack protection
A method for contactless payment relay attack protection includes receiving an online authorization request including a cryptogram, a measured processing time, and a reference processing time from a terminal. The cryptogram is verified, and a determination is performed as to whether the measured processing time exceeds the reference processing time. An online authorization response authorizing or declining a monetary transaction is transmitted, based on the determination. An artificial intelligence transaction analysis can be performed based on past and current conditions (e.g., battery level, operating system, open applications) of a payment device such as a mobile phone, past and current conditions of a terminal, and/or a monetary amount. The online authorization response can be based on the artificial intelligence transaction analysis.
USING ON-DEMAND APPLICATIONS TO PROCESS ENCRYPTED DATA FROM A CONTACTLESS CARD
A device may receive a uniform resource locator (URL) and encrypted data. The device may download a first application from an application server based on the URL. The device may download and execute the first application. The first application may receive the encrypted data.
Constraining transactional capabilities for contactless cards
Systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and computer-readable media. A communications interface may receive an indication that a server preauthorized a transaction. The communications interface may receive, from a point of sale device, an indication to pay for the transaction. The contactless card may determine, based on rules stored in the memory, that the location of the mobile device is within one or more locations the contactless card is permitted for use. The contactless card may generate transaction data comprising: indications of an account number and an expiration date of the contactless card, and the indication of the preauthorization. The contactless card may transmit the transaction data to the POS device as payment for the transaction. The server may authorize payment for the transaction using at least a portion of the transaction data based at least in part on identifying the indication of the preauthorization in the transaction data.
Method for the encryption of payment means data, corresponding payment means, server and programs
A method for encrypting a piece of payment means data is disclosed. This method is implemented by a payment means having a data processor. Such a method has at least one iteration of the following steps: obtaining a current piece of payment means data from a memory of the payment means; generating a following piece of payment means data as a function of the current piece of payment means data and as a function of an encryption key of the payment means; replacing the current piece of payment means data by the following piece of payment means data within the memory of the payment means.
Provisioning credentials on multiple electronic devices
This application relates to re-provisioning of credentials, such as payment credentials, on a second electronic device from one or more credentials previously provisioned on a first electronic device. The one or more previously provisioned credentials may be stored on an external storage system and may be retrieved by the second electronic device for re-provisioning. The second electronic device may re-provision an instance of the one or more retrieved credentials for use in electronic transactions on the second electronic device using a secure element linked to the second electronic device and information that is unique to the one or more credentials being re-provisioned to the second electronic device.
Dynamic security code for a card transaction
An electronic device generates a dynamic security code for a card transaction, e.g. a card not present transaction. The electronic device receives a user request to generate a dynamic security code. The electronic device sends a time request to a time source and receives a message including a time from the time source. The electronic device determines an authenticity of the message containing the time and computes the dynamic security code based on the time received in the message and a key stored at the electronic device. The electronic device causes the dynamic security code to be displayed on a display of the electronic device. The electronic device may be capable of computing a dynamic security code for a plurality of different cards. The electronic device may be a smart phone, a tablet, or a personal computer.
NFC enhanced augmented reality information overlays
Various embodiments are directed to overlaying relevant product information in augmented reality via the use of near-field communication (NFC) and a product selection system. A user may authenticate into an application or user profile. Information about the user in the user profile may be used to determine which products are relevant to the user. Information related to the relevant products may then be displayed to the user in augmented reality, which improves at least the overall shopping and in-store experience.
