CONTINUOUS AUTHENTICATION FOR DIGITAL SERVICES BASED ON CONTACTLESS CARD POSITIONING
Various embodiments are generally directed to continuous authentication of a user to a digital service based on activity of a contactless card positioned proximate to a computing device on which the digital service operates. For example, a series of periodic status messages may be provided between a client device and the contactless card to verify whether the contactless card remains active, wherein authorization to access the digital service continues while the contactless card is active, and terminates when the contactless card is inactive.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR DETERMINING VERIFICATION INFORMATION RELATED TO VIRTUAL CARDS
Disclosed are systems and methods for utilizing virtual reality for virtual cards. For example, a method of determining verification information may include: obtaining an image of a merchant site of a merchant captured by at least one camera of a first computing device, wherein the merchant site is displayed on a display of a second computing device; identifying one or more characters in the captured image; determining that the identified one or more characters indicate a virtual credit card number associated with a user; determining a card verification value associated with the virtual credit card number and an expiration date associated with the virtual credit card number; and displaying information regarding the determined virtual credit card number on a display of the first computing device.
Stackable integrated circuit cards
Systems and methods allow for the integrated circuit cards (ICCs) to removably couple to each other and transmit information to an access device as a single device. One among the two or more ICCs coupled together may read data from the remaining ICCs and provide the data to an access device via contactless communication. The ICC may include a substrate; an integrated circuit embedded in the substrate; input ports exposed on a first surface of the substrate, and output ports exposed on a second surface of the substrate. The input ports and the output ports are electrically coupled to the integrated circuit. The output ports are configured to be removably coupled to the input ports of a second ICC.
Systems and methods for minimizing user interactions for cardholder authentication
A method and system include providing a user interface associated with an issuer of an account; receiving, at the user interface, a request to generate a token associated with a user account; generating at least one token associated with the user account; authenticating one or more elements associated with the user account, wherein authentication may be one of prior to and subsequent to the generation of the at least one token; and receiving the at least one token. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Method for approving use of card by using blockchain-based token id and server using method
The present disclosure relates to a method for approving the use of a card by using a token-ID, wherein, in a state where a card token ID, identification information of a user, a push token ID, and a public key of the user are registered in a blockchain database and a blockchain transaction ID corresponding thereto is managed, when payment request information is acquired, a relay server: requests authentication of order data from a user terminal; checks whether a user signature value obtained in response to the authentication request is valid, and registers the order data in the blockchain database; and registers, in the blockchain database, approval result information which is obtained through verification of the order data by a financial server, and transmits the approval result information to at least one of a service providing terminal and the user terminal.
METHODS AND COMPUTER SYSTEMS FOR IMPLEMENTING A PAYMENT CARD NETWORK
A computer-implemented method of operating a payment card network is proposed in which the expiry date of each payment card is stored, not on or in the payment cards themselves, but as a payment card record within an electronic database. When the payment card is used, the record is accessed using other payment card details to check that expiry date has not passed. The process does not require that the expiry date is read from the payment card. This has the advantage that the payment card does not have to be replaced at the expiry date. Instead, the expiry date can be updated by updating the record. In place of the expiry date, the card has an auxiliary date which is the birthdate of the consumer in the YYMM format.
Token processing with selective de-tokenization for proximity based access device interactions
A method includes providing an initial communication, by an access device to a user device. The access device can receive the user identifier and the access token and receive a secret associated with the user. The access device can determine, using the user identifier and/or the access token, if the transaction is authorized by an authorizing entity computer associated with the access device or by an authorizing entity not associated with the access device. If the transaction is authorized by the authorizing entity computer associated with the access device, the access device can transmit an authorization request message comprising the user identifier, the secret, and the access token to the authorizing entity computer. The authorizing entity computer validates the secret, retrieves a real credential of the user using the user identifier, and authorizes the transaction.
DEVICE ENROLLMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
Embodiments related to systems and methods comprising receiving payment data at an access device; receiving an identifier for a mobile device at the access device; and generating and sending an authorization request message to a payment processing network, wherein the payment processing network generates a verification token, which is then sent to the mobile device whereby the mobile device is thereafter used to conduct payment transactions.
CARD MANAGEMENT METHOD, USER TERMINAL, SERVER, CARD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A card management method, a user terminal, a server, a card management system and a storage medium are provided. The method includes: sending a card binding message to a server, wherein the card binding message includes card authentication information of a card to be bound; receiving a card type of the card to be bound and dedicated card information for the card to be bound sent by the server, wherein the dedicated card information includes a card transaction identifier; loading the dedicated card information for the card to be bound onto a security element, wherein the dedicated card information for the card to be bound together with matching universal personalization data are useable to perform transaction verification of the card to be bound, and the matching universal personalization data is first-type universal personalization data or second-type universal personalization data that matches the card type of the card to be bound.
PLAN INTERACTION UTILIZING CRYPTOGRAM
A method includes a network processing computer receiving an authorization request message comprising a token and a cryptogram during an interaction between a resource provider and a user. The network processing computer determines user credentials associated with the token. The network processing computer then determines a plan identifier based on the authorization request message. The network processing computer provides the plan identified to an authorizing entity computer.
