20230052197 · 2023-02-16 ·

A system and method to conduct secure electronic financial transactions are provided. The method includes receiving a request, from a user, to perform a transaction with a merchant; generating a virtual check comprising a checking account number, a bank routing number, and a date; displaying the virtual check on at least one of a display of an electronic device of a user or the merchant; receiving input from the user corresponding to at least one of a plurality of check fields; receiving a virtual signature from the user; encrypting the virtual signature; storing the encrypted virtual signature in a database; decrypting and embedding, in the image of the virtual check, the virtual signature received from the user; populating the virtual check based on the received input and depositing the virtual check.

NFC card verification

Methods and systems are provided for verifying the possession of a card, such as a credit card or a debit card, by a card user. Possession of the card can be verified, for example, when a purchase transaction, such as a telephone purchase transaction or an online purchase transaction, is attempted with the card and the purchase transaction is denied due to suspected account take over. Possession of the card can be verified by detecting the present of the card with a mobile device of the user, such as a smart phone. For example, possession of the card can be verified by near field communication (NFC) between the card and the mobile device, wherein the communication is sufficient to adequately determine the presence of the card.

Payment integrated loyalty system

A payment integrated loyalty system including a point of sale terminal comprising a card reader, a communication subsystem configured to wirelessly communicate with a payment instrument, and configured to communicate over a network with at least a first and second server. The payment integrated loyalty system includes a processor in communication with the communication subsystem and card reader, configured to receive, through the communication subsystem, a payment instrument identifier associated with the payment instrument, and obtain a fingerprint based on one-way encrypting the payment instrument identifier. The processor is further configured to receive, from the first server via the communication subsystem, a loyalty balance associated with the fingerprint and to complete the financial transaction based on an updated amount based on the loyalty balance.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURE PEER-TO-PEER TRANSMISSION OF CONTENT IN DISTRIBUTED LEDGER NEWORKS
20230042916 · 2023-02-09 ·

Different aspects of the invention implement an enhanced DLT system, and corresponding method, that allows the peer-to-peer transmission of huge amounts of data packets of content between users, and to be stored in the DLT network, in a secure, trustworthy and efficient manner. By allowing the interface between any type of existing layer 1 DLT network, it does not require the complex, slow, costly and highly risk process involved in the generation of a new layer 1 DLT network. It opens up the range of possible applications of the DLT network to applications in Big Data, IOT, Web 3, MMOG, or any other environment that needs the trust provided by the immutability of data stored in the DLT network.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSACTION OF DIGITAL ASSET
20230039832 · 2023-02-09 · ·

A method for transaction of digital asset is provided, including receiving digital asset transaction request information from a user terminal, verifying, by a blockchain network, the transaction request information, and when the verifying the transaction request information is completed, generating, by the blockchain network, information associated with the digital asset, in which the information associated with the digital asset includes a reputation of the digital asset.

Universal payment channels

Systems and methods for transferring value. A method includes posting, by a user device to a blockchain, a deposit transaction comprising a deposit value and conditions and updating, by the user device, a state according to a transaction amount. The method also includes transmitting, by the user device, a state update of the state to a server computer and responsive to transmitting the state update, and receiving, by the user device, a payment complete message comprising a tuple from the server computer. The method also includes verifying, by the user device, the conditions and processing, by the user device, a server deposit transaction on the blockchain in response to verifying.

Systems and methods for identity graph based fraud detection

A method and apparatus for fraud detection during transactions using identity graphs are described. The method may include receiving, at a commerce platform system, a transaction from a user having initial transaction attributes and transaction data. The method may also include determining, by the commerce platform system, an identity associated with the user, wherein the identity is associated with additional transaction attributes not received with the transaction. Furthermore, the method may include accessing, by the commerce platform system, a feature set associated with the initial transaction attributes and the additional transaction attributes, wherein the feature set comprises machine learning (ML) model features for detecting transaction fraud. The method may also include performing, by the commerce platform system, a machine learning model analysis using the feature set and the transaction data to determine a likelihood that the transaction is fraudulent, and performing, by the commerce platforms system, the transaction when the likelihood that the transaction is fraudulent does not satisfy a transaction fraud threshold.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RANKING POTENTIAL ATTENDED DELIVERY/PICKUP LOCATIONS
20180005184 · 2018-01-04 ·

A computer system for ranking potential attended delivery/pickup locations is disclosed. In various embodiments, a user or computer system identifies an area in which to establish at least one attended delivery/pickup location. In a particular embodiment, the system receives data associated with potential attended delivery/pickup locations (e.g., attended delivery/pickup location candidates), including the specific characteristics of those candidates. The system then, based at least in part on the characteristics of each of the attended delivery/pickup location candidates, ranks the attended delivery/pickup location candidates and displays the rankings to a user for use in selecting the most suitable candidate for the area.

Scanner-Based Apparatus and Method
20180012214 · 2018-01-11 ·

A retail shopping facility having at least one public entrance, a customer service area, a product display area, and at least one point-of-sale (POS) station also has at least one scanner configured to remotely and uniquely identify a product previously purchased from the product display area as that product re-enters the retail shopping facility via the public entrance with a customer. That scanner provides corresponding identifying information regarding that returning product to a control circuit that in turn uses that information to automatically process an exchange transaction of the returning product for a substitute product in the product display area such that the exchange transaction occurs without the customer engaging either the customer service area or one of the POS stations.

Systems and methods for providing dynamic and interactive content in a chat session

Methods and systems are presented for providing dynamic and interactive content in an online chat session. When it is determined that an online chat session is established between two devices, an interactive chat engine may begin monitoring chat messages exchanged between the devices to derive a context for the online chat session. A particular workflow from multiple workflows may be selected and initiated for the online chat session based on the derived context. The interactive chat engine may generate a chat object for presenting dynamic and interactive content to the user related to the workflow within the online chat session. The chat object may be inserted into the chat flow of the online chat session. Once inserted the chat object may generate and subsequently modify presentations for the devices participating in the online chat session.
