SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ACCELERATED SETUP OF E-SHOP WEBSITES
A system and method for creating and using enabled products sets (EPSs) includes an e-shop developer system in communication with a website building system (WBS), the e-shop developer system to create, modify and update at least one EPS for display in at least one e-shop of a website of the WBS, the at least one EPS to provide continuously updated fulfillment and backend information for its products. The e-shop developer includes an EPS generator tool to provide manual creation and editing services and automatic creation and updating of the at least one EPS, an e-shop builder to receive a user selected at least one EPS and to match the at least one user selected EPS to at least one template for display within the at least one e-shop and an evaluation and integration engine to provide recommendations for the EPS generator tool and the e-shop builder.
METHODS AND COMPUTER SYSTEMS FOR AUTOMATED EVENT DETECTION BASED ON MACHINE LEARNING
A computer system includes a memory configured to store instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to cause the computer system to perform a method for event detection. The method includes obtaining a user profile and a persona category associated with the user profile corresponding to a user; receiving first data associated with the user and second data associated with one or more environmental or situational factors; detecting an event based on the first data or the second data; and querying a database in response to the detected event to determine one or more recommended actions for the user based on the user profile and the persona category of the user.
Systems and methods for providing live online focus group data
A method includes receiving a selection of a subgroup of participants from a group of potential focus group participants, placing each participant in the subgroup of participants in a waiting room environment, establishing a respective testing video conference between each participant in the subgroup of participants and the second user and confirming, based on the respective testing video conference, a respective technical ability to carry out a video conference. The method includes establishing the video conference comprising each respective confirmed participant and the second user, receiving respective data as part of the focus group from each respective confirmed participant and presenting live data associated with the video conference of the focus group to the first user at a user device. The method and associated network server enable a quick way to establish a focus group and then carry out a focus group on a topic of interest.

Methods, systems, and apparatus, for receiving persistent responses to online surveys
A press and hold function for conducting online surveys with a respondent in order to obtain genuine responses to the online surveys is presented herein. A user interface associated with an online survey is presented to the respondent on a screen of a computing device. The online survey can include a set of questions. Each question of the online survey can include a set of response elements. Each of these response elements can be associated with one or more response duration. In order to select a response to a question, the respondent can press a response button that is associated with one or more response elements to that question. The respondent then holds the response button for the response duration associated with the response element. After the response duration is complete, the response associated with the response element is deemed to be the response of the respondent.

Scoring members of a set dependent on eliciting preference data amongst subsets selected according to a height-balanced tree
A software voting or prediction system iteratively solicits participant preferences between members of a set, with a binary tree built used to minimize the number of iterations required. As each member of the set is considered, it is pairwise-compared with select members represented by nodes already in the binary tree, with iterations beginning at a root node of the tree and continuing to a leaf node. The newly considered member is placed as a new leaf node, and the tree is height-rebalanced as appropriate. Red-black tree coloring and tree rotation rules are optionally used for this purpose. Yes/no preference tallies are kept for each member of the set throughout the tree-building process and are ultimately used for scoring. Height-rebalancing of the tree helps minimize the number of iterations needed to precisely score each member of the set relative to its alternatives.

CONTENT RECOMMENDATION BASED ON A SYSTEM PREDICTION AND USER BEHAVIOR
Systems and methods for generating a content item based on a difference between a user confidence score and a confidence score are disclosed. For example, a system generates for output a first content item. While the first content item is being outputted, the system receives user data via sensors of a device. The system determines a user confidence score based on the user data and metadata of the first content item. The user confidence score indicates a user's perceived probability of an event occurring in the future. The system calculates a prediction score which estimates the likelihood of the event occurring in the future. In response to determining that the difference between the user confidence score and the prediction score exceeds a threshold, the system selects a second content item related to the event and generates for output a recommendation comprising an identifier of the second content item.
Systems and methods for automated equipment rental
An equipment rental system comprising a kiosk, the kiosk comprising a user interface configured to receive user input and provide outputs to a user, a processor configured to receive the user input from the user interface, generate user output and control a locker system; and a locker system configured to store the equipment and allow access to the equipment under control of the processor, the processor configured to: receive log in and credential information form a user via the user interface, present the user a choice of equipment, receive a selection of equipment through the user interface, gather payment information from the user through the user interface, wherein the payment information corresponds to a period of use for the selected equipment, and control the locker system to make the selected equipment available to the user.
