An embodiment for generating an electronic coupon based on user preferences is provided. The embodiment may include receiving real-time and historical data relating to one or more reward coupons. The embodiment may also include identifying a contextual situation of the user and one or more preferences of the user regarding a coupon reward type. The embodiment may further include identifying one or more vendors that match with the one or more preferences of the user. The embodiment may also include generating one or more electronic coupons and presenting the one or more generated electronic coupons to the user. The embodiment may further include in response to determining the one or more generated electronic coupons match at least one preference of the user, adding the one or more generated electronic coupons that match the at least one preference of the user to an account of the user.
Vehicle-based media system with audio ad and visual content synchronization feature
In one aspect, an example method to be performed by a vehicle-based media system includes (a) receiving audio content; (b) causing one or more speakers to output the received audio content; (c) using a microphone of the vehicle-based media system to capture the output audio content; (d) identifying reference audio content that has at least a threshold extent of similarity with the captured audio content; (e) identifying visual content based at least on the identified reference audio content; and (f) outputting, via a user interface of the vehicle-based media system, the identified visual content.
Methods, systems, and media for timing presentation of content
Methods, systems, and media for timing presentation of content are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: causing a first video content item to be presented on a user device of a user, wherein the video content item is provided by a video sharing service; identifying a promotion for the video sharing service that is to be presented to the user during a time window; determining a probability that the user will select the promotion if the promotion is presented at a first time point within the time window in connection with the first video content item; determining whether to present the promotion at the first time point based on at least on the probability; in response to determining that the promotion is to be presented at the first time point, causing the promotion to be presented on the user device at the first time point in connection with the first video content item; and, in response to determining that the promotion is not to be presented at the first time point, causing the promotion to be presented on the user device at a second time point in connection with a second video content item, wherein the second time point is within the time window and wherein the second time point is after the first time point.
Determining transaction-related user intentions using artificial intelligence techniques
Methods, apparatus, and processor-readable storage media for determining transaction-related user intentions using artificial intelligence techniques are provided herein. An example computer-implemented method includes obtaining data pertaining to digital behavior of a user during a transaction-related session on one or more electronic commerce websites; classifying the user into one of multiple categories by processing the obtained data pertaining to the digital behavior of the user using artificial intelligence techniques, wherein the multiple categories correspond to multiple predicted levels of user intention to complete a transaction; determining, based on the classification of the user and the obtained data pertaining to the digital behavior of the user, at least one reason why the user may not complete a transaction during the transaction-related session; and performing one or more automated actions based at least in part on the at least one determined reason.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CREDITING A REWARD TO AN ELECTRONIC WALLET ACCOUNT
A method and system for crediting a reward to an electronic wallet account, wherein an electronic wallet account is pre-established for a user who has a pre-authorized electronic device with an electronic wallet application module, a reward application module and an image processing application module. A table of identifiers associated with a reward is pre-established, and the identifier is encoded in an image to be shown on a product. A registration of the user as a participant in a campaign is pre-established. Identifier information contained in an image captured by the electronic device is received, and it is determined whether the identifier information is in the table of identifiers. The reward associated with the user's electronic wallet account is credited, the identifier is removed from the table of identifiers, and notification of the crediting of the reward is provided.
COUPON, CONTEST, AND ADVERTISING BUSINESS METHODS
Business methods related to contests, coupons, and advertising are described. Methods according to the disclosure can include methods related to movies and/or films, and can include company and/or product placement within the movies/films. The movies/films can be released in segments to users, and can be made using user input.
Proxy objects for tracking processing of electronic coupon codes
Systems/techniques for facilitating proxy objects for tracking processing of electronic coupon codes are provided. In various embodiments, a system can determine that a browser is performing a checkout on a frontend website. In various aspects, the system can cause the frontend website to instruct the web browser to transmit a validation request to a backend server, wherein the validation request identifies a coupon code and requests that the backend server determine whether the coupon code is applicable to the checkout. In various instances, the system can cause the web browser to append a proxy object to the validation request, wherein the proxy object fetches, during execution of the validation request by the backend server, an execution status of the validation request. In various cases, the system can receive, from the proxy object, the execution status and can initiate one or more electronic actions based on the execution status.
Redeeming multiple redeemable codes in a single transaction
The systems described herein include a system and method for redeeming multiple redeemable codes. For example, a mobile device can be configured to enable redemption of multiple redeemable codes in a single transaction. In some implementations, the mobile device can store the plurality of redeemable codes for obtaining discounts on the items obtained from the merchant store. Particular implementations provide at least the following advantages: A mobile device can store and manage multiple redeemable codes for a user. The mobile device can automatically select and provide the redeemable codes to a point of sale terminal when the user is making a purchase. The codes can be automatically selected and applied to the purchased goods or services to generate a discount for the user. Redeemable codes can be automatically removed from the user's device after they have been used. Thus, the user is relieved of the burden of managing redeemable codes.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IDENTIFYING CODES THAT MAY BE REDEEMED FOR VALUE
Some embodiments of the invention enable users to manage codes which may be redeemed for value. For example, some embodiments provide systems and methods for automatically identifying a code communicated to a user which is redeemable for value, and adding the code to an inventory maintained for the user. When the user later shops at a site which allows a code to be redeemed for value, some embodiments of the invention may automatically detect when the user has navigated to a page on the site which allows redemption of the code, and may make the user aware that the code may be redeemed on the page. If the user opts to redeem the code, the field on the page into which the code is to be input may be automatically identified, and the code may be automatically input into that field.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING OFFERS USING A MOBILE DEVICE
A wireless device is enabled to provide offers. The wireless device receives card data for a financial account card and stores the card data in a memory associated with the wireless device. Responsive to using the card data in a transaction at a first merchant location, the wireless device receives transaction line-item data from a computing system associated with the first merchant location. The wireless device determines merchant information for a second merchant location and determines an offer associated with the second merchant location based on the line-item data and the merchant information for the second merchant. The wireless device presents the offer when the wireless device is near the second merchant location.
