ONLINE ADVERTISING TRACKING
A verification system is provided that can enable tracking of online advertisements with successful sales of goods or services. The system can receive an advertisement tag as part of a request by a user relating to the product or service, the advertisement tag comprising an identity of a publisher of an advertisement regarding a product or service offered by a vendor, the publisher being different from the vendor; determine a contribution of the publisher's advertisement to the request; and update a set of transaction data structures in an electronic record to associate the identified publisher and contribution with the request.
Programmatic merchandising system and method for increasing in-store transaction conversions via heuristic advertising
An automated advertising scheduling and distribution process reacts to the effectiveness of sales data. A hosted platform creates location-specific playlists based on key consumer variables that impact buying behavior, and dynamically performs data analytics. Utilizing a programmatic system and machine learning algorithmic methodology, the platform gathers data from the retailer's data warehouse and automatically pulls location-by-location sales data while simultaneously collecting playback data. If sales are not being affected on the particular item that is being promoted, then the platform may be configured to replace that message with a promotional message for another product with a higher likelihood of engagement and conversion. This virtual feedback loop ensures that the platform is optimizing the most effective series of promotional messages for any given location. The content management administrator accordingly delivers relevant advertising/messages to various display screens integrated into fuel pumps, through the store, and to retailer loyalty program applications.
Methods and apparatus to determine impressions using distributed demographic information
An example apparatus includes: at least one memory; instructions in the apparatus; and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to: access a cookie at a client device, the cookie including a priority listing indicative of an order in which beacon requests are to be sent to ones of a plurality of database proprietors; cause a first beacon request to be sent to a first database proprietor server, the first database proprietor server corresponding to a highest priority in the priority listing of the cookie, the first beacon request indicative of access to media at the client device; and cause a second beacon request to be sent to a second database proprietor server, the second database proprietor server corresponding to a lower priority than the highest priority in the priority listing of the cookie, the second beacon request indicative of the access to the media at the client device.
System, method, and article of manufacture for analyzing a document and detecting message impressions from the document
A system, method and article of manufacture are provided for detecting message impressions from a document. The document includes one or more data collection areas adapted to receive input, and one or more message areas. Each message area includes a message. Memory representations of messages are stored in a memory. The document is received at a document processing engine which is adapted to access the memory to obtain the representations of messages. Message impressions are detected from the document by analyzing the document in the document processing engine. Message impressions are detected if it is determined that there is relevant input in the one or more data collection areas, and the document includes a representation of one or more of the messages.
Press release distribution system
A press release distribution system provides press release and other news to forum sites as posts. The forum software that runs at forum sites includes press release interface software or is adapted to receive press release interface plug-in modules for interfacing with the press release distribution system. The press release interface software or plug-in module may also monitor and/or analyze user data of forum members and/or forum activities of the users. The monitored user data and forum activities may be provided to the press release distribution system for analysis and generation of user profiles. Using the result of the analysis (e.g., user profiles), the press release distribution system can target particular users or forums to direct the press releases, news, or advertisements for most effective advertising campaign.
Method and system for monitoring the presence of a point-of-sale display in a shop, at the sight of consumers
Method for monitoring the presence of a point-of-sale display in a shop, at the sight of consumers, the method comprising: acquiring signals from mobile devices by at least one signal sensor, sending one output from the signal sensor to an analyzing device, wherein the analyzing device: calculates an audience rate of the point-of-sale display on the basis of the output, and determines, on the basis of the audience rate, if the point-of-sale display is in the shop at the sight of consumers or not.
Promotional system interaction tracking
Techniques for providing webpages based on tracking consumer device interactions are discussed herein. Some embodiments may include one or more servers configured to: receive a request for access to a promotion webpage from a consumer device, wherein the request includes a consumer device cookie and the promotion webpage includes an indication of a promotion; in response to receiving the request for access to the promotion webpage, generate the promotion webpage including widgets; generate clickstream data based on tracking widget views of the widgets within the promotion webpage; associate the clickstream data with the consumer device cookie; and generate widget analytic data based on the clickstream data. The widget analytic data may then be used to populate webpages with widgets to optimize various criteria, such as widget views or promotion purchases.
Systems, devices, and methods for dynamically generating, distributing, and managing online communications
This document describes the collection, generation, distribution, and management of online web content. The devices, systems, and methods described herein can be used to collect and generate online web content and communications. Specifically, the disclosed devices and systems may be employed to produce one or more marketing and/or advertising campaigns, as well as for monitoring, managing, defining the efficiency, effectiveness, and workability of the campaign with respect to generating user engagement, thereby accurately determining the cost benefits of the campaign. The analytic results provided may then be used to guide the generation of original web content, such as for the purposes of enhancing customer or follower experience, driving business, and for driving advertising campaigns. Alternatively, web content that is in the public domain, and determined to perform well, can be reproduced, referenced, or otherwise referred to, in the context of promoting or presenting the user's web content.
COMPONENT OPTIMIZATION OF BENEFIT COMPUTATION FOR THIRD PARTY SYSTEMS
An online system identifies an impression opportunity for a target user of the online system. The online system accesses predictors for a third party system, each predictor determining a prediction value indicating a likelihood of users to provide a specified benefit to the third party system after a specified timeframe from the performance of a specified type of action by the users at the online system, each predictor trained using a training feature set extracted from an impressions log including metadata for past impression opportunities made to users. The online system determines a combined bid value for the third party system based on prediction values determined by the predictors trained for the third party system. In response to determining that the combined bid value for the third party system is a winning bid value, the online system presents a sponsored content from the third party system to the user.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AN ATTENTION-BASED FRAMEWORK FOR CLICK THROUGH RATE (CTR) ESTIMATION BETWEEN QUERY AND BIDWORDS
The present invention relates generally to an attention-based model framework for click through rate (CTR) prediction between a search query and bidword. Aspects of the present invention include using vector representation of a search query and a bidword. In embodiments, an attention-based model is used to predict CTR for a search query-bidword pair. In embodiments, a bidword with a highest CTR prediction for a given query is used to place an advertisement. Thus, a bidword may be used even without an exact match to a search query.
