This disclosure describes, in part, techniques for automating transfers of funds from a deposit account of a user to a savings account of the user based on historical transaction data associated with the deposit account. Using historical deposits and withdrawals from the deposit account, a prediction may be made regarding deposits to, and withdrawals from, the deposit account that will occur in a future period. Based on that that information and a balance to maintain in the deposit account for the duration of the future period, the amount of funds to transfer from the deposit account to the savings account may be determined. The techniques may further include transferring the funds to the savings account once determined.
Systems and methods for analyzing and generating explanations for changes in tax return results
Systems, methods and articles of manufacture for performing a comparison of tax results based on different sets of tax data, and generating an explanation as to why the tax results differ or do not differ due to the differences in the tax data. The system includes a computing device, a data store in communication with the computing device and a tax preparation software application executable by the computing device. The tax preparation software application has a tax calculation engine, a tax calculation graph, and a change analysis engine. The tax calculation engine is configured to perform a plurality of tax calculation operations based on the tax calculation graph. The change analysis engine is configured to determine whether tax results based on different tax data differ or do not differ. The system may also generate explanation(s) of the reasons that the tax results differ or do not differ due to the different tax data.

A device may receive historical risk data identifying historical risks associated with entities, and historical compliance data identifying historical compliance actions performed by the entities. The device may train a machine learning model with the historical risk data and the historical compliance data to generate a structured semantic model, and may receive entity risk data identifying new and existing risks associated with an entity. The device may receive entity compliance data identifying new and existing compliance actions performed by the entity, and may process the entity risk data and the entity compliance data, with the structured semantic model, to determine risk and compliance insights for the entity. The risk and compliance insights may include insights associated with a key performance indicator, a compliance issue, a regulatory issue, an operational risk, a compliance risk, or a qualification of controls. The device may perform actions based on the risk and compliance insights.

Embodiments of systems and methods for the aggregation, analysis, display and monetization of pricing data for commodities in general, and which may be particularly useful applied to vehicles are disclosed. A device may receive first information related to a transaction. The device may identify a first device from which to receive an image of a receipt related to the transaction. The device may provide, to the first device, a notification to cause the first device to perform a set of actions including activating a camera associated with the first device to capture the image of the receipt, or providing, for display, an instruction related to capturing the image of the receipt associated with the transaction. The device may receive, from the first device, the image of the receipt. The device may process the image of the receipt to perform an analysis of the transaction. The device may perform an action related to the transaction based on a result of processing the image of the receipt.
