GUIDANCE SYSTEM AND GUIDANCE METHOD
A guidance system includes: a station congestion estimating unit to estimate congestion situations in respective areas in a station and to output station congestion information indicating the estimated congestion situations in the respective areas in the station; a guidance determining unit to determine a mode of guiding station users on the basis of the station congestion information output by the station congestion estimating unit and to output guidance information indicating the mode that has been determined; and an output generation unit to generate an output signal for guiding the station users on the basis of the guidance information output by the guidance determining unit, to output the output signal that has been generated to an output device, and to cause the output device to provide output corresponding to the output signal.
Geolocationing system and method for use of same
A geolocationing system and method for providing awareness in a multi-space environment, such as a hospitality environment or educational environment, are presented. In one embodiment of the geolocationing system, a vertical and horizontal array of gateway devices is provided. Each gateway device includes a gateway device identification providing an accurately-known fixed location within the multi-space environment. Each gateway device includes a wireless transceiver that receives a beacon signal from a proximate wireless-enabled personal locator device. The gateway devices, in turn, send gateway signals to a server, which determines an estimated location of the wireless-enabled personal locator device.
Venues map application and system
In some implementations, a computing device can provide a map application providing a representation of a physical structure of venues (e.g., shopping centers, airports) identified by the application. In addition, the application can provide an inside view that includes the physical layout and geometry of the venue's structure as well as the location, structure and layout of points of interest (e.g., stores, security check points, restrooms) within the venue. The views become more detailed as the user zooms into the venue to reveal points of interest and to give the user a feel for traversing the venue.
Systems and methods of indoor navigation for emergency services
Systems and methods for providing indoor navigation to emergency services are disclosed. The methods involve storing at least one electronic map of a facility and at least one annotation for the at least one electronic map. The at least one annotation can be representative of a service resource within the facility. The method also involves receiving a traversed area from at least one computing device within the facility during an event; determining a total traversed area based on the traversed area from each of the at least one computing device during the event; and providing the at least one annotation and the total traversed area within the at least one electronic map to be displayed on at least one graphical user interface.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
This information processing device includes: a collection unit collecting, on the basis of activations of a plurality of flavor suction tools, information about the locations of a plurality of user terminals respectively connected to the plurality of flavor suction tools which the locations of all or some of the plurality of user terminals are indicated in an identifiable mode; a determination unit determining whether it is suitable to present, as use areas of the flavor suction tools, the respective one or more areas in which the user terminals are located in the user location map; and a second creation unit creating a determination result map in which the area determined to be suitable to be presented as the use area of the flavor suction tool is indicated in the identifiable mode.
Recording medium recording simulation program, simulation method, and information processing device for people flow in sign system
A recording medium records a simulation program for causing a computer to execute a process including: arranging an agent, which has cognitive information and behaves in a virtual space based on the cognitive information, in the virtual space in which a plurality of guidance displays is set; when, with respect to each of the plurality of guidance displays, the agent enters within a first range of the respective guidance displays, and first guidance information corresponding to the first range is related with a destination of the agent, changing cognitive information up to the destination of the agent; and when, with respect to each of the plurality of guidance displays, the agent enters within a second range different from the first range, and second guidance information corresponding to the second range is related with the destination of the agent, changing cognitive information not directly related with the destination of the agent.
Using identity information to facilitate interaction with people moving through areas
A system receives a digital representation of a biometric for a person, uses the digital representation of the biometric to determine and/or otherwise retrieve identity information associated with the person, and uses the identity information to perform one or more actions related to the person's presence in one or more areas. For example, the system may estimate a path for the person and signal an agent electronic device based on the path. In another example, the system may determine a presence of a person within the area and/or transmit information to an agent electronic device regarding the determined presence. In still another example, the system may receive a request to communicate with the person and forward the communication to the person using the identity information.
Securing physical environments through combinatorial analytics
For securing a physical environment, an intersection determination is performed using a first record of a first person and a second record of a second person, to determine whether a travel plan of the first person and a travel plan of the second person intersect at a location and a time. When the intersection determination is affirmative, an analysis is performed whether a first object associated with the first person and a second object associated with the second person are combinable to form a combined object having a combined property. When the combined property is designated as harmful in the physical environment, a suspicion indication is outputted. The suspicion indication includes an identity of the first person, an identity of the second person, and a level of suspicion.
ELEVATOR ACCESS CONTROL
An apparatus for managing access to one or more elevators of a building is configured to: receive, for a plurality occupants of the building, a respective occupant registration request including at least occupant characteristics recorded for the respective occupant; assign each occupant into one of a plurality of occupant groups based on the occupant characteristics recorded for the respective occupant, wherein each occupant group has respective access rights with respect to said one or more elevators that are different from access rights of other occupant groups in terms of a time schedule of accessing said one or more elevators; and selectively allow or disallow an occupant of the building to access said one or more elevators in accordance with the access rights of the occupant group into which said occupant is assigned.
DIGITAL MAP BASED ONLINE PLATFORM
A digital map based online platform is provided. The online platform comprises an outdoor map server, a data store, a building database, a space database, and a computer program stored in a medium. The data store manages digital files related to buildings including floor plans of buildings and digital files including website source codes related to spaces in individual folders for each building and space. The building database and the space database manage map setting data of buildings and spaces, respectively. The computer program stored in a medium executes a series of stages to integrally display an outdoor map, an indoor map including floor plans of buildings, Internet links, and responsive HTML pages on the view of a digital map. The medium includes a web server and a user terminal.
