ELECTRONIC DEVICE
In an electronic device that embeds information in content, copyright protection and prevention of falsification are achieved at the same time. The electronic device includes a content generation unit, a first embedding processing unit, and a second embedding processing unit. In this electronic device, the content generation unit generates content. Furthermore, in the electronic device, the first embedding processing unit embeds, in the content, first embedded information related to the content. The second embedding processing unit embeds second embedded information in the content.
Video watermarking
A method of embedding a bit or more of watermark data in a video signal to be entropy coded, wherein the video signal may be a block with levels, wherein the method may include: obtaining the watermark data; and obtaining a value of a first watermarked level on the basis of a first level of the block by processing the value of the first watermarked level. There also is a method of detecting a watermark in a video signal, the video signal having been entropy decoded and with a block with a first watermarked level, wherein the method may include: receiving the video signal; obtaining at least one bit of watermark data w.sub.i′ on the basis of the first watermarked level; and determining a tampering indicator by verifying whether the obtained watermark data w.sub.i′ corresponds with watermark data w.sub.i.

Authenticity of a sticker (e.g., a mark-down sticker on a retail item), or integrity of a closure (e.g., on a delivery bag or package), is confirmed by reference to spatial information. In some embodiments a fingerprint is formed from parameters describing spatial placement of a sticker or pattern on a substrate. In some embodiments a digital watermark pattern provides a spatial frame of reference within which one or more other features can be located. A great many other features and arrangements are also detailed.
NEAR PERFECT INFRARED COLORS
A method and system for rendering a watermark with near perfect infrared colors can involve providing an infrared pattern ink having a color with a lower spectral reflectance in an infrared spectrum, replacing the color having the lower spectral reflectance with a replacement color constituting a combination of colors having a higher spectral reflectance in the infrared spectrum, them matching in a visible spectrum, the replacement color with the color having the lower spectral reflectance in the infrared spectrum, and rendering a watermark as a metameric color pair including the infrared pattern ink and replacement color. Alternatively, a watermark may be created by defining a first color pattern having a CMYK value derived from a particular LAB value with a lower toner stack and a higher reflectance in an infrared spectrum as compared to a second color pattern having a second CMYK value derived from the same LAB value.
System and method for identifying b-roll conditions in live streams or live rendered content
A video stream management system includes a video controller that live renders video. Moreover, the video stream management system also includes a display that is communicatively coupled to the video controller and displays a primary video feed that includes the live rendered video. The video controller, the display, or a combination thereof, embeds a pixel pattern in the primary video feed. Additionally, the video feed management system monitors one or more displayed images on the display to identify an error in the primary video feed.
Method and Apparatus for Generating Anti-Forgery Image
A method and an apparatus for generating an anti-forgery image are provided. The method includes: determining, according to a rule for setting bits, related parameters; determining a combination quantity of bits, according to the parameters; acquiring a width, height and code numeric value of the anti-forgery image to be generated and requesting a memory space for the anti-forgery image to be generated according to the width and height of the anti-forgery image to be generated; determining positions of the code points in the bits according to the parameters; determining the image cell's initial coordinate in the anti-forgery image to be generated according to a rule for setting coordinates; and drawing the image cell in the memory space according to the image cell's initial coordinate in the anti-forgery image to be generated, where the drawn image cell forms the anti-forgery image.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WATERMARK EMBEDDING AND EXTRACTING
Methods and apparatuses for watermark embedding and extracting are provided. A method for watermark extracting includes obtaining a carrier object embedded with a watermark image; determining at least one encoding region that includes watermark information; determining a plurality of template lattices from the at least one encoding region, the plurality of template lattices comprising a plurality of positioning template lattices and one or more encoding template lattices; and obtaining the watermark information according to the plurality of template lattices.
Systems and methods for watermarking digital images
Systems and methods for applying and detecting cross dependent marks incorporated into an electronic or digital image to form a watermark. The electronic or digital image may include encoded information for example a machine-readable symbol. The watermarking may include an encoding and insertion sub-process that inserts one or more marks into an image at a first point in time for form a marked image, an extraction sub-process that extracts the marks at a second point in time, and a detection sub-process 108 that determines if any modifications have been made to the marked image. The marked image may be formed by determining a first original descriptor and first original mark within the image, determining a second original descriptor and second original mark within the image, and incorporating the first original mark into the second original descriptor and incorporating the second original mark into the first original descriptor.

Systems and methods for secure watermarking of point clouds
Disclosed is a security controller for a content distribution system that generates and encodes point clouds with invisible, visually undetectable, and/or tamperproof watermarks. The controller selects a set of data points from the point cloud, and changes at least one specific bit of a set of bits that define a value for a particular non-positional element of the set of data points. The controller encodes point cloud with a first watermark that is unique to a requesting client based on the changing of the at least one specific bit. The controller distributes the file encoded with the first watermark to the requesting client and tracks the set of data points that were encoded with the first watermark in order to subsequently verify that the requesting client was the original recipient of the point cloud encoded with the first watermark.
